When I arrived to pick up my order, they did not have my order and on top of that they were sold out of the whole sweet potato pie. The girl working the register seemed confused when I gave her my name and I told her that I was there to pick up my order. She kept looking for my order and couldn't find it. Instead of being honest and telling me they forgot about my order and they were sold out of sweet potato pie for the day, she tells me that they have not sold sweet potato pie for about 3 weeks. If that is the case they should make the sweet potato pie unavailable for people to order online. I was somewhat annoyed because it was my first time ordering from this bakery and all my coworkers were expecting a sweet potato pie for the office party. The only options of pie they had left for the day was the pecan pie and key lime pie so I chose the pecan pie. My coworkers said the pecan pie was not bad. The slice of key lime pie I ordered on the other hand was not that great. I've had better key lime pie, the texture seemed watered down. I don't think I will be coming back here again after my first mediocre experience.

Thankfully I had a couple of people to share it with, because otherwise I probably would've eaten the whole thing myself. The coffee is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is warm and tucked away from the hustle, and you can tell they care about every detail. One thing many people may not realize is that their brioche buns are so good they're featured at other popular neighborhood restaurants. Great food. Great coffee. Great people. Saved money and came out great Please note upon calling for ordering, they do speak Spanish and little English. We were able to work together to get my order in since I don't speak full Spanish myself. But she was very patient and understanding. They were able to accommodate my request for picking up early morning and made sure I was okay with the process since they usually have pick ups handled after a specific time. The cake itself was delicious and enjoyable and for the price, I'd do it again and refer them out. My friend who picked up the cake for me did mention, it was a little sketchy to pick up and the front counter wasn't aware of what she was asking. All in all; it worked out in the end and they had my cake available.

When I arrived home to serve it in a bowl, that's exactly what I received, tiny little pieces of meat and the majority were big chunks of fat. When I called the bakery, their excuse was well that's all that's left. Then they shouldn't have sold it to me. They should've told me that the Menudo that they had did not have a lot of meat left and not sold it, but to them profit comes first instead of the customer. This is terrible service!
