Arriving early, I was the first person there which allowed me to choose many different items fresh from the oven. Miss Vivian was very helpful in telling me all the different names of the items in the bakery and recommending some additional items. This restaurant also serves breakfast, lunch, soft drinks, coffee, and they have a lot of seating. There is also plenty of parking along with handicap spaces. Kevin took my order, and he was incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming. He made me feel like they genuinely appreciated my business. The experience was so good that I came back a few days later for lunch! I saw Kevin again (I'm sure he didn't remember me ), and he was just as kind as before. I also noticed that the rest of the staff were smiling, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. That kind of atmosphere makes such a difference and says a lot about a restaurant. Drove there at 6 am and immediately had a blast. - The setting is actually quite a step up from holes in the walls, its a colorful family diner. A lot of customers in the morning going in and out. The menus are clear and filled with helpful pictures. - The food? Absolutely fantastic, most are only slightly above $10 including a robust assortment of soups and combination meals. They give you very generous portions that are colorful and well cooked and it's a steal. I ordered a Churrasco meal (steak) and it came with a side of slaws and a giant relleno pepper and a good steaming stack of small corn tortillas to make your own tacos. A total delicious package.
