Over my time as a resident the management changed so often that it seemed like the moment one manager was getting settled in they would then leave . I have a laundry list of issues that were inexcusable and poorly handled. Some of my top issues... Front office staff: They never answer the phone ! Ever since I moved in this was an issue. I can recite the automated message for you while waiting for someone to pick up because they would never answer. Not to mention most of the front office staff was extremely rude and forgetful. Anytime I had an issue or concern it would usually take 2 tries to get something taken care of . Pest control. We pay for pest control and as residents told to call the office to be put on this list. Whenever I would do this process pest control would never come and "forget" my apartment. There was one time where I had been put on the list 3 weeks in a row and they somehow managed to skip me each time . Faulty construction: My shower curtain rod fell on my head due to the weak construction of the rod itself . If I did not have good reflexes I could have suffered serious damage . While maintenance fixed this after it fell, it was still something that should not have happened. In addition, although the cabinetry looks nice, it is cheaply made and was already showing signs of wear from my first year. The walls in Citra are super thin I lived on the 2nd floor and could hear the people above me whether walking around, when they returned home, sometimes even conversations . Security: There is none. Citra never installed any type of security camera system on property even after some of the serious incidents we had on property . Although they did have a designated security officer who lived on property it seemed that it was of no help. Pool : the pool would be closed quite frequently (sometimes even months at a time). If I'm paying for amenities they should be functioning. So much pool maintenance! Perhaps they should have invested more into the pool then in a one lane bowling alley with limited hours? I seriously could go on and on with valet trash service issues, maintenance, more about the poor management communication but I'll stop here. I thought I would be rid of Citra issues once I moved out, however once I did move out I was somehow charged for an extra day of living there even though I turned my keys in on move out date. It took several weeks to get this refunded so my Citra saga continued a bit longer . I would not recommend living here at all. The location is the best part about Citra but I would not consider it to be "luxury living." Its not worth all the issues. I would say my first year there was the best because the place was new and the management was attentive. Perhaps one day they will get a good management team that stays among long enough to do good for the community and it's residents like it was from the beginning

Lots of great walking space, benches, ponds, fountains, and park areas for the little ones. There is a huge pool area with a portion of the pool designed to swim laps. A gym area, and paddle boat area and outdoor grilling, sand volleyball court just make it perfect for the active family. The homes are quite nice as well. I think they could be spaced out further apart, but then you would not see your neighbors out on the porch either! The homes are fairly new and it seems the floorplans are the same all throughout--several homes just repeating themselves all throughout--nothing original or different about them. I will say I'm not super impessed with the quality of the buildings. It seems to be on par with what newer homes are supposed to be like, but I just dont think I am supposed to hear the neighbors while in my living room, o hear plumming from upstairs when I'm downstairs. It's also difficult to cool the upstairs and downstairs with just one unit--if you the want the upper level cool, the bottom feels like hell and vice versa unless you get a separate cooling system for the upper and lower level. . .ugh. There are sometimes community events held and the HOA is great at doing their job. I felt fortunate to live here. . .

That they claim couldn't do anything even of the ring worms she collected from here. I reported noise from the upstairs neighbors a ton it was an upstairs worker. They would drop stuff scare the crap dogs @11-12:30 at night contest dog barking. Urine all the way in the breezeway and main entrance. There was a dirty diaper and sometimes dog poop w no bag.. Dog trash's were always full for weeks. Management did a huge flip when I reported one of their employees kids which is there quite often. They also kid barged into my apartment. They were also giving us late notifications of checking fire alarms they said they were just texting me not even before giving us a notice. I quoted the 24 hour notice to enter in to my apartment one of my girls got spayed and needed quite. At this point management didn't care people were getting really sick. I got nasty texts and phone calls. From the office. Honestly not worth. Run far away, oh one more thing they don't take care of community spaces claiming its not our space. Oh they also claimed our apartment was move in ready definitely not. Oh and the oven sets off the fire alarms each time. You can definitely find somewhere better. They don't care about safety had a dog couple 10 + years and yelled at me first then my husband because, every time we walk in they are charging straight down. I went to the office, with my PSD they did nothing. They just sent a text never followed up on any of it or care much about health and safety for yourself or pets or your cars. Also their maintenance did not know about how they change the leveler water to go higher . They only changed the water temperature. It took six different visits to fix it.
