After a ton of research, we went with Venetian builders because they had the most knowledge and experience and we are SO lucky we did! Finding them was truly a miracle. I helped my Mom renovate her shower two years ago and we were previously working with another renovation company but they were nothing compared to Venetian. From the time the contractor arrived to the end of the renovation process, they accompanied us every hour and did outstanding work. They were always right on time, made sure everything was up to code, and even helped us with the home design - which wasn't even included in the agreement but was a major help! They even found high-quality materials for us at a really affordable price In the end we were so thrilled by the result that we ended up doing the kitchen AND redid the flooring in the entire house. We're also planning on hiring them again to redo the pool in a few months when the weather is warmer. Huge thanks to Amos and all the staff at Venetian, we simply cannot thank you enough for turning our dreams into a reality read more

Our kitchen was but too old and recently developed uneven floor tiles. We thought about kitchen remodeling but were skeptical since it would be costly. We looked upon Yelp to find Venetian and their reviews looked promising. We later talked with Mike and their estimate was within our budget. The team was professional and did their job well. So far no problems with us. read more

I wish there were 10 stars on this and that would be the score I'd give! When you are right on time to your appointment for a price quote, you're off to the right start. Venetian Builders surpassed my expectations. Yonatan is easy to talk to and a total pro. He walked me through the interior painting procedure and made the start to finish experience stress free. The crew did a fantastic job. They are great with details and were very courteous.I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone. And will definitely use them again. read more

Where my family and friends come together. Can't thank you enough! Can't wait to see you this summer when we start on the backyard! Thank you and your crew for all your help. You have been amazing. Your design exceeded my expectations. Your attention to detail was phenomenal. Your crew was efficient and left everything clean at the end of the day. Although Construction is not an easy feat, you made it painless. See you in June! read more

We had a few contractors come out and look at our Home and ultimately went with Venetian Builders due to Michael's (our Project Manager) friendliness, professionalism, and competitive bid. we decided to renovate our kitchen and add new space over our garage (approx. 600 sq. feet of new space/renovation) along with our Master Bedroom. Michael from Day one listened to what we wanted; and always gave us positive and honest feedback of what we could and couldn't do. We are extremely happy with the results His crew is very professional, they always showed up when they said they would and always finished each stage on time or ahead of schedule. They were really good about keeping the work-space contained, everything was taped up and covered in plastic and tarps so the dirt and dust stayed in the remodeling area. It was a big project and by far the most extensive project we've done in our home and Venetian Builders did quality work throughout. I could go on, but the point is that we really just have positive things to say about Venetian Builders . We'll definitely call them again when we want to do more work on the house. read more

those guys seriously deserve a review. Every single problem we reached while remodeling our very old kitchen, Michael helped us resolve. They were with us hand in hand starting the permits and complete with the light bulbs. We finished the kitchen remodeling couple months ago and We just love it! So comfortable, we went with the white granit for the backsplash and cream for the counter tops, the island is from wood. Sorry there is no photo, my kitchen is a bit mess for a photo at this moment. Good luck!!! And thank you!!! read more

They did everything just how we want, taking care even for the smallest details. Very recommende! Will definitely call them again for our next projects. read more

These guys are amazing! I had this fake contractor who said he will renovate my bathroom & kitchen in 3 weeks, we closed a deal and then, after 5 days he just vanished! Left my house falling apart! Amos and his crew came in and did fantastic job! Clean, affordable and reliable. Highly recommended ***** read more

After coming to our house for a quote on our remodel, Yoav never provided a written quote nor did he provide the references that we requested. Quite unprofessional. read more

Venetian Builders is truly an amazing company. I've worked with them twice over the last year, first to have my stairwell re-done and then to have my fireplace re-done. Both times I worked with Benjamin, who has to be one of the most courteous, thorough, and efficient project managers I've ever met. He truly strives to ensure the project is done to your liking. For example, when I first decided to have the stairwell re-done, I had a clear vision for how I wanted it to look. Benjamin ensured that my stairwell was executed exactly to my vision. Now it is a statement piece in my condo. It truly defines the place. I currently am all out of home reno projects, but in the future, I will not hesitate to call Benjamin and Venetian Builders. read more

I am recommending Venetian Builders and give them 5 stars. I'd give 10 but that's not an option. I have had the pleasure of having them completely renovate our sad old house. It's gorgeous. They remodeled it in 2017. It now has airconditioning, reinforced foundation for earthquake country, new roof new flooring throughout, paint inside and out ,shutters in the living room and master...remodeled bathrooms everything. The work is STILL gorgeous. Recently, one of the doors started to drag on the floor. I suspect that the house settled. Anyway, my GREAT contractor, Ron, sent out 2 of his subcontractors today,--3 YEARS later and they fixed it for me, no charge but remember, our ENTIRE house was renovated. It was SOOOOO awful. I mean REALLY REALLY bad. We also had asbestos ceilings removed. We had to move out for the removal process...not fun but necessary. Those popcorn ceilings are nasty & we think they were installed in the 1970s... I recommend Venetian builders highly. They are RELIABLE, HONEST, ON TIME and DON'T ABANDON THEIR CUSTOMERS. They made certain ALL work was UP TO CODE, so if we sell, we won't have any problems with the city or county. I used to work for the Los Angeles Superior Court..so,,, I've SEEN things.....TRUST ME when I say they are a GOOD COMPANY. read more

Benjamin and Venetian Builders provided true, professional customer service ! They worked on my neighbors house and it looked great so I hired them to paint my house and do the flooring for upstairs and downstairs. I extremely happy with the results and will use them again for my bathroom and stairwell. I highly recommend Venetian Builders . read more

Venitian Builders are reliable, quality-focused and promptly finished our job. They offered hands-on building and remodeling advice and we could tell they had tons of experience in home remodeling. They have an unbelievable amount of knowledge in residential construction and remodeling techniques. We couldn't be happier and would rate higher if we could! read more

The receptionist/scheduler was so professional, kind, and patient. However, 30 minutes before the contractor was supposed to be at my house, he called me to ask what my budget was -- "to make it worth the time". And then -- he wouldn't come to my house unless my *husband* was home. Are you kidding me? I didn't realize this was the 1950's. I headed up our kitchen remodel and I was NEVER spoken to like that. read more

The work was completed on time on budget and must important as promised. Venetian builders was by far the most responsive contractor i have encountered. They were always back in touch with me within a day, usually within a few hours. They did a fantastic job tiling our bathroom floor, replacing a cement wall in our shower, and re doing the tiling over the new wall. Great Job! read more

Sorry, but I would not recommend Venetian Builders to my friends. Poor workmanship. Schedule overrun due to mistakes in ordering. Repeatedly re-working errors. Scheduled 2 weeks for reflooring 750 sq. feet, adding, lighting, paint. 70% of the work was done in the first 3 days. Then the rest of the project dragged on for 3 weeks. In about half of those days no work was done ("I will be here everyday to make sure everything gets done right" "we'll finish the job in 7 days" "I promise I will do a good job"). I kept hearing "things happen" from Ben... as if that means something. One of those days I was home all morning and afternoon until about 2pm. Ben showed up with his crew around 3pm while I stepped out, and when he saw me walk in, he told me he and Mikey (his handyman who claimed he was the boss once when Ben wasn't around) were working all day so that he could finish the job that day -- lied straight to my face and didn't blink an eye.... BTW, the job finished the following week, not that day. I see from the reviews that it looks like he finished at Heather M's job site around 11/26 (he was contracted to work at my house from 11/12 to 11/26 -- finished 12/3). Glad she's happy... Had the work been done professionally, perhaps the delays and the frustration would have been worth it. But not so. In reflooring the kitchen, the workers had broken the legs of the existing kitchen island and cabinets, but they covered it up with panels AND DID NOT TELL ANYONE. I did not realize this until the kitchen island (marble top) started sagging and the panels warping -- the island could have crushed my kids' feet had it collapsed. Ben said "sorry, but things happen." After he declared the flooring job done and left, next day in daylight I would realize that there was a layer of sticky grime all over the floor, and dabs of flooring glue had dried up in about 30 places. I spend the next three evenings polishing the floor and scrubbing off the glue/paint residue on the floor. I complained to Ben and his reply was "sorry, but things happen." -- no they left a mess. Ben did not bother to inspect the workmanship of the people he hired, so I had to go around the house and point out all the places where touch up was needed -- saw mark here, missed paint there, glue seeping through the floors.... Oh, and the recessed lights -- smudges of dirt were left around one light, and none of the lenses had been wiped clean after installation -- so you see the dirt when you turn the lights on. "sorry, things happen." Remind you all this time there was rubbish lying on the floor of my garage (even though demolition was done by day #3). When I asked them to remove it, the workers took a 10-foot movie screen from the garage. Ben claims they threw it out by mistake. Things happen. Ben does not oversee the crew or check the quality of their work. I had to tell the guy doing the moulding that he did not cut the piece correctly (it just looked horrible) and I had to tell him how he should cut the next piece -- if I could show pictures -- the young man did not really care how ugly it looked -- as far as he was concerned he "did his job." One morning the young guy who was working on the stairs arrived at 9am and by 10:30am, he barely completed installing floor boards on 1 stair, and I had to tell him to stop yakking on the phone (it wasn't business) and try a little harder. The crew showed up late and left early on days they were on site. One of those days, they got two steps of stairs done... the following day they got 8 more stairs done. That was it... One of the workers told me they live far away, so they come late and leave early.... I put together my complaints (similar to this review) and told Ben I am considering writing a Yelp review -- I think I have been fair and accurate in this review. I wasn't sure I would post the review, but then soon I got a text from Venetian Builders "office" saying "we are sorry the company that was hired to do the work did not meet your expectation" -- sounds like to me they had to pretend they didn't know Ben and Mikey/Michael (their names plastered all over the reviews here) ... I am tired of hiring contractors that hold you hostage once the job is started. My experience with Venetian Builders was no different. read more

Venetian Builders came over to quote a roofing repair for my home music studio. Their quote was very competitive and they even offered a discount due to leftover material from a previous job. I dealt with Jonathan - very knowledgeable and honest, with no nonsense dealings. The work was completed a couple of days later (much sooner than they had estimated) and everything was done correctly. Very highly recommended. read more

Michael & Yoav what can I say other then thank you. This is the first major home improvement project we ever did. We renovated our whole house and turned what was not a modern home, to say the least, into a modern looking one. We added about 120sqft to the front of our house, which enlarged the kitchen and dining room area. We removed a ton of walls, creating an open concept kitchen/dinning room/living room, renovated 2 bathrooms and replaced the flooring throughout the house. We got quotes from several companies, all found through Yelp, and found that Venetian Builders were very competitively priced, if not a bit lower then other companies. As we were told by other friends who have done this in the past, be prepared for the unexpected. I do understand that now, since even though our house had be remodeled before we acquired it, you never truly know what is going on inside the walls until they are opened up. Wouldn't you know it, there were some surprises that we did not expect. Granted, because of some of that unexpected work we were able to then do some things, design wise, that we hadn't though of beforehand (like vaulting the ceiling in the front room). We had discussed the timeline being 3 months, but because we went back into permitting for our redesigned roof, we ended up being out of the house for an extra 5 weeks (we had made arrangements to be out of the house for 4 months before we even started the project). I love coming home and opening our front door into our house. I love showering in our bathroom, which feels like a hotel. Even after the job was finished and paid for, when I called about a settling crack I had noticed on a seam, Michael sent somebody out to fix the problem. I know that if I have any other issues, Venetian Builders will be there to stand by their work. Thank you again Venetian Builders for transforming our house into a home. Now lets have that whiskey to celebrate Michael!!!! read more

Hard to schedule with. Had me waiting long after agreed upon times. I had somewhere to be and they said they'd get back to me right away to let me know how late worker would be. They never got back to me. Poor customer service. Can't speak to the quality of their work bc if they couldn't get the free estimate right, I didn't trust them to get the harder parts right. If they NO SHOW an appointment, who's to say what could happen when more is at stake. EDIT: The below comment is a lie. My appointment was on a Tuesday and I have a recording of the phone call and the follow up phone calls with Maria. There is a reason so many people state that this company lies and misschedules. I live in Northridge and how can you say on one hand I didn't have an appointment and on the other hand not even know my name? What a shitty company! You probably just didn't want to come out to Northridge. Stop lying and start practicing fair business. - David read more

This is for a review for Maria Manoukian, who is the customer service agent at Venetian Builders. I talked to her 2 months ago and we found each other through Home Advisor Pro and I do have a bathroom project, I know I won't be starting the project right away, She totally understood my financial problems but she has been keeping in touch with emails, always connecting with me and treats me not just a customer but also a friend. I really am so amazed how persistent she is and how devoted she is with her work and representing the company like her own. I am going to consider Venetian Builders for my kitchen and bathroom in two months. I will keep in contact with Maria. I appreciate the patience that she has. Maria has been the best customer service agent I have spoken to in this kind of industry. read more

When I started planning my project, an addition to my house of 1000 sq feet I interviewed 5 contractors. I decided to go with Ron and Venetian Builders because I trusted my gut and intuition. I have one word to say - extraordinary!!! This company and Ron in particular were amazingly efficient. The entire process from the blueprint process to completion of construction was such a smoothe process. Ron's service was superb! I couldn't of asked for more!!! He was impeccably efficient.
