During a new…read moreDIY construction build in an extremely remote location (Sunburst, MT), it was discovered the trusses the Primary Supplier provided, that I had to drive 4hrs to get, were the wrong size. Upon being notified, I was informed it would take them 3-4 weeks to produce correct replacements and need to come get them (again). If you've ever built your own home, delays like that, especially when winter is quickly approaching, and none of the other vendors can do their parts until the structure is 'dried in', can have some detrimental impact on everything. After calling other providers in the GF area, only to learn a 3-4 week turnaround time and higher cost than I orignally paid, I connected with Jake at Truss Works. He was kind, understanding and based on this review accomodating to my circumstances. A few questions later, Jake informed me they could accommodate not only providing me with new trusses THE VERY NEXT DAY... but DELIVERED TOO... in SUNBURST for less than what I was originally charged from the "Big Franchised Shop" in GF! The delivery, arrived ON TIME, as indicated and were built to the much needed specifications. FANTASIMO! This family owened business earn my LIFE long business and we're looking forward to our future builds knowing TRUSS WORKS will do it right the first time!

Got a call a few days later and was told I was misquoted on two of the items and the price difference was more than $700! Okay, scratch those items. Get the rest delivered and discovered they forgot the mirrors to my medicine cabinet. NBD. I've got time to make it right, remodel still in progress. Called in and picked up my mirrors. Get home and discover the mirrors are right, but they've delivered the WRONG medicine cabinet. I paid for a 36inch and they delivered a 30inch. Then I get a call from them stating my space saver is in. What space saver? I call to discuss space saver and wrong medicine cabinet. Was informed that the space saver was going to be a problem because it was a special order and was told by that gal that, "I specifically remember you saying, I want that (space saver) but not the shower door." That's not true! I WANTED the shower door and ordered it, but she called me a week later to tell me it was $500 more than she quoted me so I ditched it. The space saver is $238! Who would pay $238 for a space saver you can get at Bed Bath and Beyond for $90 buck?! Then to add insult to injury, she suggests that I go with the smaller medicine cabinet that I've got because people typically go with a cabinet smaller than their vanity. I don't care! Give me what I paid for! Speaking of paying. ..my credit card was charged but I to date have NEVER received an invoice. I have our hand written order slip--which she filled out--that shows what I ordered and prices--NO SPACE SAVER ON HERE, by the way but thanks for the good helping of guilt! Good, Lord. I just want my correct medicine cabinet (that I've already paid for) so I can be FINISHED dealing with them. I regret ever having purchased ANYTHING from this lady. It should be noted that we live approximately 100 miles away from the good wood shop. 1. We ordered roughly $7,000.00 worth of custom countertops. The cottonwood is beautiful. Good review. They can cut wood and make it pretty. 2. When it was delivered to our house the sink portion was not included in the shipment. The cabinet contractor said "Chris (at Good Wood) said he never got the measurements for the cutout." I personally saw the emails sent to Chris by my wife that included the measurements and was personally there when she called and left several messages. Additionally, when my wife dropped off the sink, she spoke with Chris who confirmed he had the measurements. Obviously Chris was lying to the cabinet guy to cover not having cut the sink portion. No apology was provided. 2.1 After leaving approximately a dozen messages (over the course of a 4 days) between my wife and I, we received a call back saying they would cut out the sink part with the "newly received" measurements. No apology was provided. 2.2 After being without a kitchen sink for over a week, the cut out on the countertops were done. When I went to pick it up, I was provided with the sink parts. The sink parts were missing practically everything actually needed to mount the sink. Including the instructions. My bad for not opening the box and inventorying the contents. 2.3 After another dozen calls and messages, my wife finally received a call back stating that they had found the missing parts in the back of the wood shop. No apology was provided. 2.4 A colleague of ours was traveling through GF and picked up the remaining parts. Which, of course was missing the faucet mounting nut. We had called at least half a dozen times asking to "make sure the faucet mounting nut is IN THE BOX coming to us." Not one call was returned. Now...we were warned that there was very little communication between the Good Wood Guys and customers. This is fine if your contractor can deal with laziness, lack of customer service, and frankly just plain lack of caring for what happens once they cash the check. If you are dealing with them yourselves...once you leave the show room (which...honestly was a very pleasant experience...they are great in person) don't expect too much. Also, don't expect a "thank you for your $7K business" or any kind of maintenance tips for your product. We didn't receive any. Overall - 2 stars. Customer service is ABYSMAL. I would travel an additional 100 miles to be treated better.

We did and they said they can park anywhere on a street that doesn't have a no parking sign. As we were pulling out of our driveway we hit the united materials truck or trailer and yes it was an accident but yet it was still parked onto a street across my driveway as we were pulling out when we asked them to move the trailer/truck they told us to deal with it we're allowed to park wherever we want. The workers were very rude and not understanding that we are still paying on the truck and now we have to pay to get it fixed plus add on the monthly payment. Why is it we get stuck with the bill and the workers just get slaps on the wrists this is not OK. The workers were very rude and Adamant about not moving the truck we told him we were going to call the cops and their boss they came over they moved the truck so basically we called a hit-and-run but when the cop showed up they said it was a miscellaneous traffic accident it is not OK we are pissed that we have to pay the monthly payment plus the payment to get this truck fixed.
