She was very understanding of our time constraints and provided us with a map and key spots to visit while we were riding bikes along the Bow River. Unfortunately, 15 minutes after we left on our bikes, we were stuck in a terrential downpour. We ended up stranded at a restaurant until we decided to brave the rain and return the bikes. Laurie offered to let us make up our time if we came back on Sunday. We did just that! We had a great ride and really enjoyed being able to see more of the city by bicycle. On Wednesday night, their website showed two of these bikes back in stock. Following their previous instructions, I purchased one immediately and my card was processed. On Thursday, a manager contacted me to cancel the order, claiming someone else bought it first. When I expressed my intense frustration at being misled twice on a $3,000 purchase, the staff was dismissive. When I requested to speak to the owner, the owner called me back simply to defend his broken inventory system and shift all blame away from his business. Taking a customer's money for an item you do not have, and having two issues in a very short time frame is unacceptable. If you are looking to make a major financial investment in a bike, go to a shop that has a functional website and respects your time and interest in the "lifestyle" that is being promoted.

Avi, STT Electrix proprietor, saved our bike…read more We took our e-bike in to a different shop last May to have a rear flat changed. On our bike the motor is on the rear hub, so there are a lot of wires to contend with. It seems this shop broke the main wire from the torque sensor to the controller. They repaired it by twisting the broken wires together and taping it up, and not telling us about it. Of course the pedal assist did not work consistently after this. When we took it back, they said it was an old bike and just a coincidence that it stopped working during the time it was in their shop. They ultimately proposed a new pedal sensor, and even a whole new controller mechanism, total estimate 600.00!! We declined and went to find a 2nd opinion. That's when we found Avi at STT Electrix. He was upfront about how busy he was, and had us book in for an appointment. He ended up determining the sensor and controller were still working, just not hooked up properly. He fixed the damage the other shop caused and got our bike running like new again. Bravo Maestro! Through-out the process, he kept us informed and seemed determined to keep the final bill reasonable, even though he was doing detective work and ultimately cleaning up some one else's mess and cover up. We are very happy with the results and recommend him highly. WE GOT OUR BIKE BACK! Avi's the best!
