I was driving my mom's car when the check engine light came on and the car quit running. Convinced it was something major, I had it towed to Velocity Auto Care. Even the AAA driver didn't realize what was actually wrong. The diagnosis? The car was out of gas. Completely out of gas. That's it. Gas. Short Story: Good Honest people not trying to take advantage of people with little knowledge about cars. Long story: Car would not start one day, replaced the battery, car started but car was shaking just being on, before even driving the car. Had the alternator and starter tested at auto zone, was told the alternator needed to be replaced. Purchased the part and scheduled service at Velocity. The morning of the scheduled work, the car was no longer shaking upon starting, but I decided to take the car to the shop for work anyway. They retested the alternator prior beginning the work and explained in detail why it did not need to be replaced. Chris also recommended to come back if i was having the issue again, but that it shouldn't need replacing soon. Although i did not have work done on my car, I was very satisfied with the quality of customer service and integrity. Highly recommend Velocity Auto Care. The service is what you expect from true professionals. I have been taking my vehicles to Taylor, Chris and his crew of technicians for well over 10 years. From Volvos to Chevrolet they have been able to keep my families car running. They always inform me on what the vehicle problems are and the best solution to get them safely on the road again. They don't start the work on the vehicle until I give the go ahead. They seem to have steady flow of customers and yet get quick turnaround. I've worked on my own cars for 20+ years and this is the only place I feel has provided good work, fast turnaround and reasonable prices. The few times I took my cars in somewhere else, I feel like I got talked down to and overcharged or conned in some way. Strong words, but that's how I feel about most mechanics. Chris at the front desk gets to the point about what they diagnosed and what needs to be addressed, and they don't sneak a bunch of hidden charges and fees on you. They brought my 73 Mustang back to life, and they've knocked out smaller jobs on my Accord usually on the same day. I've had my Accord aligned twice before, and they were the only shop to actually get her to go in a straight line. I still bust my knuckles for 90% of my repairs, but for the other 10% I save time and sanity by bringing it here. read more

Velocity Auto Care, LLC provided EXCELLENT care and customer service to my senior father and his 12 year old truck. Velocity took their time and care to accurately diagnose the truck's problems. We were hoping that the truck would be repairable, but Velocity was up front and honest about the truck's poor condition and did not arbitrarily try to fix things just to rack up a bill.
