So I almost never buy gas here - even with an Extra Miles account. I only have the account to save on food and drinks when I take my lunch break there. I ate the sandwich and lived to write about it. I didn't get sick at all. It was fine. The staff here are friendly, helpful, and professional despite what some of these other people say. I never had any issues. UPDATE: I'm including the cashier Mani in on this review. He also looked over my sandwich to make sure it wasn't spoiled. The Holiday Harvest Hoagie has dark stuffing herbs in the bread that makes it look spoiled. So I go off the expiration date. But I'm glad the staff is looking out for their customer's well being.

Anyway, kudos to the owner of this Shell and I'm changing my stars from 1 to 3. Maybe there a few business owners that take yelp suggestions seriously. Original post below: Long time customer 15 years probably - NO MORE! Purchased a car wash, like I have been doing for years maybe 2 x per month. Water didnt go on after I was prompted by the speaker where you punch in the code to drive forward - so I go back inside. Apparently they put out a hand written sign (not where you punch in the code, but before were you do not even stop) saying not to drive forwarded even though you are prompted to do so. Anyway, I talked to the individual at the counter. She went back to talk to a manager. When she returned, the manager told her that they would not reset the carwash. I'm out a car wash, but Shell is out a regular long time customer. Minimum 2 car washes a month X 12 months X 15 years. That is a lot of money. And to Shell On-line customer service: if you have a system to register and respond to customer complaints, you should not ignore them like you have ignored mine going back 1 1/2 months. Don't frequent the Shell in Otay Mesa - they don't care about their long term customers. Anyway, the 2 gas stations across the street have better prices.
