Not many people would risk slowing down the line and pay that much attention to the customers purchase. So I appreciate his careful, thoughtful, and alert nature. I ate the sandwich and lived to write about it. I didn't get sick at all. It was fine. The staff here are friendly, helpful, and professional despite what some of these other people say. I never had any issues. UPDATE: I'm including the cashier Mani in on this review. He also looked over my sandwich to make sure it wasn't spoiled. Once again, the staff is super helpful and I am glad the cashier found it quickly. Chevron has the most expensive gas in the area. It's probably because of that Techron additives. So I almost never buy gas here - even with an Extra Miles account. I only have the account to save on food and drinks when I take my lunch break there. The store is well-lit, well-stocked and clean. The staff here are friendly, prices are fair and there's also a good selection of area-souvenirs as well. It's great because it opens later than the hours of the Starbucks/Subway, so if you're ever in the area and need to pick up some drinks/snacks, this place is a good place to go. There is Truck Net which mostly trucks use and there is Valero. This is one of the cheapest gas you will find in San Diego. If you pay cash you get anywhere from $0.05-$0.15 saving per gallon compared to their credit card pricing. BUT now a days who really carries cash for gas right? So is it worth it if you get gas with credit card? YES! IT still is one of the cheapest places to get gas even with credit card. It's very convenient for those that work in Otay Mesa and have to use 905 freeway which I figure is about 99%. You get some cheap gas and jump on the freeway and off you go ~~~~ Cheap gas does not equal bad gas. I believe Valero is a chain and they use all same gas at all their chains and Valero by my house is a lot expensive. So I think I get the same gas at $0.30 cheaper than I would by my house... During my visit, I observed the cashier--who appeared to be a Hispanic individual in her late forties with visible arm tattoos expressing extreme aggressive body language engaging in inappropriate and offensive behavior. She was using profanity, making threats, and engaging in a verbal altercation with a customer right at the register, all while other customers, including children, were present. This incident has greatly affected my trust in the establishment, and I will no longer be returning, given the unprofessionalism and the environment it creates.
