It's a bright space that makes eating vegan food fun and easy! The only downfall was that it took a long time for us to get our food, almost 40 mins, and the restaurant wasn't even at max capacity. Something about their system messing up and there were a bunch of deliverers coming to pick up food. Pretty much everyone was waiting. They should definitely give priority to guests dining in. The worker didn't apologize for the long wait. Good thing we didn't come too hungry... Bedsides the wait, the food was tasty. My chickn burger was crunchy and a great alternative to meat. The mushroom bitterballen was so delicious as was everything else. The braised artichoke was just ok. Nothing to write home about but nothing wrong with it. It's just that everything else was so unique including the desserts. Lovely ambiance in the restaurant. I give my experience a 4 overall for the artichoke and I must mention the bathroom. This is more of a Dutch thing than anything else. Gender neutral bathrooms are cool. We Americans don't see that a lot. The problem is the individual stall was up a flight of stairs and so small that I couldn't even sit on the toilet and then there was nothing to pull myself up to get out the position I had gotten myself into. It was awkward. This stall needs a bar or something to help those of us who are not as able as we used to be. I'd go eat here again to try more of their dishes.

It is owned by a gentleman from Paris, and the menu is tastefully appointed. I ordered the egg coddler with salmon, and my wife had the egg coddler with goat cheese, and it was AMAZING. Ultimately, the egg coddler is a glass jar with two eggs in a little cream, cooked to an over easy state (or 1/2 poached egg) with your choice of ham, salmon, goat cheese or tomato and herbs. It was out of this world. Since we are gluten-free, we ordered fries (frites) instead of toast, and they were also delightfully delicious. We had cocktails, which were also good. I've returned again for the coddler, and fresh ginger tea. Not to be disappointed! Hit this place up.
