Ken came to my house, tried to work with the old key to see if he could recover it. The programming worked but the key itself was bad. Fortunately, Ken was able to get a replacement fob within an hour, brought it to my house, and quickly put the program on the fob. Ken was friendly, transparent about the price, and solved my problem very satisfactorily. The price was less than the dealer, the problem was solved on the weekend and in my driveway! Saved me a lot of hassle of bringing the car to the dealer and spending a while waiting for them to do the work. I recommend Ken and his company for any locksmith work you need.

They also offered to program the keys, but I let them know my boyfriend could handle it. They were totally understanding and didn't try to upsell me at all, which made me feel really comfortable. I left already impressed with the service and pricing--but then my car battery died in the parking lot. I went back inside to ask for help, and without hesitation, they came out and gave me a jumpstart. Now I'm home writing this review, and I'm honestly just so grateful. Ugghhh... Foolishly locked myself out of the house... again…read more It's hot outside. I'm in a hurry. I need to get in, ASAP. Yelp, come to the rescue! I hit the Yelp find-a-service thing and it sent out requests to multiple locksmiths in the area. I'm assuming I'll have to wait minutes, hours, or even days for quotes. Then only seconds later, I get a response from USA Lock and Key, mentioning a flat rate of $79.99 for nearly immediate service (25 minutes away). Let's get it! When the locksmith Haim arrived, I knew right away this was a very professional locksmith who knows what he's doing and he's been doing it for a long time. His clean compact van was essentially a well kept toolbox, even had a key cutting tool in the back. What's more, he had a display with an example dimple key knob, residence knob, and commercial grade knob to show me the differences, while also discouraging bluetooth/smart doorknobs. As the pro he is, he verified my ID and address before getting to work. He gets to work and I noticed, the entire time he had METRO PD license displayed around his neck so I pick his brain about it. Sketchy locksmiths may do work to scope out a place, duplicate keys, or damage knobs to scam customers into buying parts, so it's important that your locksmith be registered through the police department. He even stated he occasionally gets called for Metro assistance. Whoa. Just minutes into the work and I was already into my home. Haim was very knowledgeable, professional, and you could tell he puts a lot of care in his work. Hopefully I won't lock myself out again, but if I do, this is the guy. By the way, its been a whole day and I got the second quote from another business.
