Where have you been all my life!!!! I've been coming to Brussels on business a few times a month for years and stood by watching my colleagues eat their Waffles every time before heading back to the hotel for the night... Haven't been in 3 yrs due to pregnancy and covid and oh my what a pleasant surprise to finally be able to enjoy The staple of Brussels!!! I was made fresh, it was hot, tasty and just perfect... i will sooooo be back!!

Love this spot for vegan and gluten free waffles! The staff was very nice. The whipped cream tasted like regular dairy whipped cream and the gf vegan waffles tastes almost too similar to a good ol Belgian waffle. I'll be coming back to this spot each time I visit Brussels!

Best gluten free waffles in Brussels! They make them as you show up. They are super fresh. Huge plus that they also had a fridge full of drinks, I bought the mango turmeric kombucha. It was delicious. The owner is so nice, when I went in I had a 45 min conversation with the owner and another customer. I was visiting from the US and the other customer was visiting from India. A lovely spot with delicious waffles. A little hard to find, you have to walk through an indoor market situation but there are signs to help you. Just keep walking through the market and you'll find it.

This place is in AGORA! Make sure you remember that because we were walking around everywhere trying to find this place outside. The owner operators say hello right as you walk up to the counter. They are very hospitable entrepreneurs. This seems to be the only vegan waffle available in Brussels and luckily it's a good one. It is thicker and more dense than traditional waffles, but the taste is great. They offer chocolate and whip cream and explained the sources and why they are vegan. Overall great experience, just difficult to find.

Thanks to Yelp, I was able to find this place really easily. Followed advice given by a previous reviewer to look for Agora. It is literally just off Grand Place. Anyway, we got some waffles with chocolate sauce. The waffles were so good, already planning to go back for more. The service was excellent as well.

The wife had an old friend in town who happens to be vegan. Not a lot of great Belgian food options for her. She did however, find this spot on Happy Cow, a vegan food directory/app. Although I'm not vegan, the wife and I decided to give the vegan waffle a shot. First off, they're Liege waffles, so they're less airy and more dense. They're made with rice flower and rice milk, so they're gluten free as well, and they're sans eggs. They're made right there in front of you. It's a small operation, so you're bound to have to wait for your waffle. We went in January, when there's less tourists, but there was still two people in front of us, and with one iron, the guy was only able to make an order at a time. The wife's friend got the vegan waffle with chocolate sauce and hazelnuts. We got just hazelnuts because they happened to be a free topping that that. The waffle is 3.5€, which is pretty standard for a waffle, and toppings are 1.5€ a pop. I thought the waffle was fine. I knew it wasn't going to be, like, you know, as good as a non vegan waffle, but it was solid. A bit gooey inside. The friend said the chocolate sauce wasn't good though. She thought it was only sour. Not sure what it was made out of, but it obviously didn't have any milk or cream in it. All in all, if you're a vegan or gluten free and looking for a waffle that fits into your diet/lifestyle, this is the spot. If you're not vegan of gluten free, well then, there's much better waffles out there. But for what it is, it's solid. For sure.

Fantastic vegan, gluten free waffles. In the shopping mall.

You wouldn't know these are gluten free. Ate here last year with a friend who isn't GF and he liked it a lot too. I highly recommend.

He reminded us of a combination of Neil Fak (from The Bear) and Lazlow (from What We Do in the Shadows). He was coordinating the line, seating, and gave outstanding recommendations, as well as praise, when we picked our wine. We were quoted about 45 minutes to wait, as they don't take reservations. A two-top opened up inside and Julian was concerned that it would be too hot, so he made me go inside to check first. Thankfully, it was right by the open area leading to outside, so we took it and were seated in about 20 minutes, rather than 45. The place was packed the entire time we were there; its reputation certainly precedes it. Good energy and beautifully decorated with stunning art inside. Carbonades a la Biere (beef stew; 19.45 Euros) is their speciality and was delicious! So reasonably priced for the flavor and te size of the dish! After Julian mentioned that the lamb is the best dish on the menu, there was no question that I was ordering it. Jarret d'Agneau Roti (Roasted Lamb Shank; 27.35 Euros) was so very good! Full of Rosemary and so tender! As Julian was running by, I quickly asked him: "Tiramisu or Tarte Tatin?" No hesitation, he replied, "Tarte Tatin." I wasn't sure if he actually put the order in for us or not, but then it arrived at our table and it was delicious! Pear Tarte (8.65 Euros) with a side of ice cream. Not too sweet, with lovely spices in the pears. Cash only, always a line, but totally worth it!

You likely will see a line for dinner. Don't worry it does go pretty fast and likely faster than…read morewhat they may quote. The stew was fantastic! Tender meat bursting with flavor with some mashed potatoes to soak up the sauce. I enjoyed the lamb as well, however a bit too much rosemary for me. Get the pear dessert. The soft and sweet pear coupled with the ice cream was one of the best desserts I've had in some time.

We tried the tajine and Mediterranean salad. The tajine was ok. I've had vegetarian tajine in Morocco and it was on the bland side so maybe I shouldn't judge so harshly, but we're not in Morocco where they're doing vegetarian special for me. This is a vegetarian restaurant so I expected a little more creativity. It was mostly carrots. The Mediterranean salad had their balls on it, which we were eager to try. Also kind of tasteless. The spread (hummus) that topped the salad and the exciting looking green sauce - generally tasteless. There was a pickled item in the bowl that was nice. My dining partner had an iced matcha latte with almond milk. She didn't enjoy it much. All in all we were underwhelmed. Giving it an extra star as we appreciate vegetarian restaurants and realize we may be out of the ordinary for flavor expectations.
