Ok ya'll this place has me giddy at almost 41 years old!!! I was cruising insta this morning and a lash lift popped up. I was like why haven't I thought about doing this before? Then brow lamination videos came in and I was like dang those look nice! So I ventured to Yelp and accidentally put in a project search for the above mentioned items and it messaged local places. At first I said whoops and then vendors started reaching out. Vavi Lashes was the second to reach out and they offered a first time service discount for both services. They made an appt for me on the spot a couple hours later. From start to finish the experience was great! The place is cute and I got to lay down for solid amount of time and I kept almost dozing off. Spa music playing in the background. I am also not a doze off easy type of person for the record. They ended up tinting my brows and lashes, I left feeling like a million bucks. Can't wait to see what they look like after 24 hours. I am obsessed!! I will be returning!

My first time at this location, and my first time ever having lashes done! I booked an appointment with Luna and not only was she so sweet but I showed her exactly what I wanted and got her recommendation. Luna was so gentle and the whole process was peaceful and for a first time person ever having done lashes I could not suggest this place enough. Since it was my first time, the lashes cost me $88 and took around 1 hour 30 minutes.

I have had the same lash girl for the last 4 years and today I needed a last minute set and she was very busy so I started my search.I am so so glad I found this place .They not only accommodated me very last minute they were so kind and understanding. Simply the best lash studio in Southern Cali. The couple times I've been there my lashes look so natural and lasts for a very long time. With other studios for the first couple days my eyes get itchy and over time the lashes begin to look uneven and untidy. I was very pleased when they were able to fit me in last minute right before my vacation. Michelle did an amazing job! They are very nice and the salon is very clean and Zen. My eyelashes looked natural and vacation ready. I have very sensitive eyes and I have to say that my eyes never burned during the process and my eyelashes felt natural and never bothered me. I have to mention that my sister had her lashes done for vacation as well and they looked amazing. When I asked her where she had them done she said, "I found this really nice, clean lash place in Cerritos called Vavi Lashes" to our surprise, we both came to the same place right before vacation without even knowing. We are both very happy with our results. It's been almost 3 weeks now and and I'll be going back for a fill. Give Vavi Lashes a try.... you won't regret it! read more

As I was checking out I was told they only did Zelle, Venmo or cash, that their system has been down. Good thing I had Zelle and Venmo, otherwise I wasn't made aware til the end. Personally, I liked the old salon how it was ambiance-wise. As far as all the hiccups, I get they are in a transition period so I'll give them that. Idk if I'll return though.

It was a quiet time, with just me and the staff present. Overall, the experience was pretty standard. I'm sharing some pictures, one from the day of my appointment (Sunday) and more from four days later (Thursday). My nails are already looking quite grown out, even though it's not been a full week. I'm also noticing some lifting on my gel X nails, and my big toe on the left foot feels a bit irritated. I ended up paying $88 with a 20% off discount, and with the tip, it came to $110. I'm unsure if I'll come back or not. My original spot never leaves my toes irritated and she usually cleans under the free edge of my nails without having to ask.

She managed to create the perfect length and style that complements my eyes. Despite my absolute love for the lashes, I must admit that my eyes stung a few times during the process, and they have been red for the past couple days. I have been going to this location for almost a few months now. I had to constantly go back every week because some of the lashes had excessive glue on them. I expressed my concern time and time again. Every time I try to brush the lashes they would split and they didn't go back to. I then wanted to talk to the owner, but then felt bad and said I didn't want to. They ended up telling me today that I'm no longer welcome there because no one will satisfy me that was extremely embarrassing and I hope they don't do that to the next client. The salon then asked me to pay a $20 deposit. I simply asked how that worked since I had already prepaid through Groupon. Would the $20 be refunded after my appointment. Instead of answering my question directly, I kept receiving responses that the deposit "goes toward your appointment," which didn't make sense because the appointment had already been paid for through Groupon. I had to ask the same question multiple times and never received a clear explanation. What really surprised me was after I called her out. She made it sound like I did something wrong by purchasing the Groupon. She said I should have contacted the salon before purchasing the Groupon because they would have honored the Groupon price directly with them. (See my screenshots) I don't understand why a business would advertise on Groupon and then make customers feel like they made a mistake. Requiring a deposit is no problem. Many businesses do that. The problem was the bad communication and the way they make customers feel like we had done something wrong for following the advertised booking process. Ridiculous. I ultimately decided not to book because it doesn't give me confidence in this business. My loss. I told her I would be sharing screenshots on social media. So here it is. I may consider deleting it if they apologize but I doubt they will. The person sounds angry from these text messages.
