Superior Outfitters is generally a pretty good store. There's alot to like. They have a pretty…read moredecent selection of firearms of all types and they even have supressors, powered by The Silencer Shop. Also, the staff are friendly and attentive. Additionally, I like that they have a table with several tablets for filling out paperwork, making purchases and transfers go much faster than at other stores. There are, however, some aspects that stop Superior Outfitters from being a GREAT store. One aspect is the selection itself. While they do stock virtually any type of firearm that you can think of, they seem to lean towards the higher end weapons. Of course this translates into a smaller selection for those who have smaller budgets. That isn't necessarily a knock on the store, as they do seem to price what they do have reasonably for the most part (I'm definitely no expert, especially when talking about an AR that cost $2k), but this ensures that Superior Outfitters will never be the first place I look. The other areas where I think Superior Outfitters falls a bit sort is in the accessory department. Sure, they do have some stuff, but it seems that they never have anything interesting and I usually end up going down the road to Bass Pro to find what I'm looking for. For instance, they have several variations of Ruger 10/22 and similar rifles covering a good chunk of wall space, but they almost never have mags or other accessories for them. Frankly, that's just dumb considering the 10/22 is the most accessorized firearm in the history of firearms. Of course this extends to plenty of other products and gear as well. Ammo is the the other area where this store slips. The selection is moderate at best and overpriced. I check it out from time to time to maybe catch a sale, but have never seen any price that Acedemy or Bass Pro can't beat easily. This would be less of an isse if both stores were not right down the road. It's unlikely that I would ever buy ammo at Superior Outfitters. Additionally, they do not carry reloading supplies. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely up to them to decide if it's worth the hassle or not, but when I'm buying guns or ammo, I almost always pick up some reloading component even if it's just a box of primers. I'm definitely not knocking Superior Outfitters. It's a decent store overall, just not my go-to one stop shop. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, it's a good place to go.

He has a very nice selection of new and used firearms at reasonable prices. As an FFL dealer, they can order or ship firearms for you for a small fee. This shop is like stepping back in time and they have lots of interesting items besides firearms. Its definitely worth a trip out there to browse the merchandise, strike up a gun or hunting conversation with David or other visitors, and enjoy a nice break from the routine!

I think they had some 'magic wands'. I was surprised that the descriptions on their mason jars of herbs were all for 'witchery,' with not a single mention of their medicinal effects. Stuff like, 'Carry with you to keep animals away,' on the mullein, but nothing about it helping your wheezing stop. I didn't see any books on metaphysics or philosophy, or nonduality or meditation or anything. Just on crystals, and maybe on 'witchery'. The whole place absolutely reeks of incense - like a super strong, artificially-scented soap, that actually leaves a nasty taste in your mouth within seconds, and an odor on your clothes that takes hours to dispel. I was very aware that the woman staff member was watching me the entire time I was there; which made me feel super awkward and not like ever going back. I guess they must have a lot of thieves or something. The guy shopkeep seemed a bit more laid-back.

Bathrooms, need attention, we had a huge glob of hair from the previous campers on our shower wall, that was enough to gross anyone out. The bathroom also did not smell clean, they need to be disinfected. Food: Disgusting, the eggs appeared to either be made from a box or previously made and just reheated. All of the other food is meant for 5 year old children (chicken nuggets and pizza), not kids getting ready to go into Junior High School and parents that have been physically working all day. We also had several children with special cultural diets, however the camp completely ignored it. One child had to eat a hamburger bun with nothing in it. Again this child's parent paid over $300 for 2 nights, no excuse. For Over $300 for 2 nights, the food needs to be better. This is unacceptable. Activities for the children: Kevin, Mike and Rachel were the absolute best, they clearly love children and enjoy their jobs. Several of the other instructors were burnt out and had very little patience (and clearly didn't enjoy children). Pat, the person that speaks on stage, needs a vacation. She is a GRUMP off of the stage. She is forgetting the people visiting are PAYING guests, which is how this place stays open. Most of the staff here expects for the Chaperones to do the heavy lifting. Truly, they provide the infrastructure, but the chaperones do the work. They will ask you to put their supplies away etc..
