Many witnesses said they life guards froze, didn't know what to do, poor training, maybe not even certified because how you gone just stand there if you supposed to be certify in cpr? A retired nurse tried to do it but didn't help by then while the very very young immature inexperience teenage guards stood like statues in shock. If you go there, remember YOU are the only safety net for your kids. Don't count on anyone or anything else. Don't be lax or chilled. Stay vigilent. YOU are the life guard for your kids! Keep one kid per adult, no more. Keep them in reach of your ARM, no farther away. It takes 4 minutes to be brain dead from drown but only 30 seconds to already begin drown if you swallow water to your lungs. Water is fun but we not fish. Be smart. Be safe. Pray for ya'll.

The Marshall Life Center is a decent gym. It has a variety of things to offer (swimming lap pools,…read moreweight machines, free weights, cardio machines, personal trainer, training classes, locker rooms, etc.) for a great price. I didn't pay for the membership fee. I opted to pay $48 dollars for 1 month instead. I, personally, use the cardio machines and the free weights/weight machines, and they're always available - I've never had to wait in line. The equipment is typically clean - the staff provides an abundance of small towels and have alcohol wipes placed in opposite ends so that the people can use to clean the equipment after they're finished using it. A downside is that you can tell that some equipments are getting a little rusty and old. For example, the dumbbells are very loose and squeaky. I have to tighten the screws in the dumbbells to keep it from falling apart sometimes. Another slight downside is that there's not a true indoor track to run in. There is a "track" that you can run/walk on - it basically circles the cardio and weight machines area in one loop - but you would need to do about 25 laps in order for it count as 1 mile. It's definitely not a big gym - no where near the size and capacity of gyms like Lifetime or 24, but the one storied Life Center is more than enough for a small town. Overall, if you're a gym rat who's looking for a variety of things ranging from availability of equipments to good hygiene upkeep to good membership prices, LIfe Center is good choice.

I have been stuck in an endless circle from hell trying to unsubscribe from the hundreds of useless emails and text messages they send out. I have gone through the pain staking process of clicking through the dozens of useless information notifications only to keep receiving them. I have emailed the manager and every other email I could find with zero responses from anyone. I would not go back to this place if it were free.

They have a good selection of workout equipment and classes/lessons. Nice cafe to grab good eats from sola bread. Nothing extravagant, but the homemade bread and quiche is to die for!!! They have tournaments and events here from time to time that can make things crowded and parking less than ideal, but on the ordinary day, it's no problem. The included child care with membership is a huge plus, however the hours could be expanded to match open hours. For everything that is included, the family price is very reasonable!! Overall, the family and myself really enjoy being members here!!! Again, staff are great!! The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is there is always room for improvement, and I can't leave a 4.5 or 4.8 rating!
