I had my car windows tinted at Vaughan's today. 10/1/19. I'm so glad I finally did and found them on Groupon. But, they do so much more than window tint. I will use them again when I'm ready for a car play stereo and remote start. They are very knowledgeable and took time to explain the different tints. read more

I had been in contact with the gentleman for the last two weeks but had my service performed today.From the beginning,I felt valued and respected.I was looking to have my subwoofers replaced in my Jaguar,made an appt.for a consultation.He politely told me he didn't have anything comparable to put in my car.I left,But I thought about it,called back and asked if I got the parts could he install-he said yes.My dealer had quoted me$1,200 for labor alone&the parts would be another $700+.Uh....in my mind that was a hell and a no.So,I did get the parts from the dealer but went to Vaughn's for the install.No matter the questions I asked leading up,He was kind,courteous&answered them.When I went for my install today,He kept me abreast of the progress,He took very good care of my car&the time frame he initially quoted me-he exceeded it.I was not surprised but pleased.I had passed by the shop for years,never having a need to stop but when I did-I was pleased with the service;their reputation proceeded them&came highly recommended.I will definately go back because there is a genuine quality there that is a lost art in customer service these days.Most places you go,it's about a dollar&not so much the customer experience.I was happy to see that:a general kindness&respect for the customer as a person&not just a dollar sign.My car was returned to me in the same condition I gave it&I couldn't ask for anything more.To the gentleman that performed my service today:Thank you for your kindness&professionalism. read more

I've owned dozens of cars all of which I've had windows tinted. John did an amazing job in tinting the windows on my GTI. Most places you go - it's a quick process and the job shows. John takes his time and it shows in the exceptional job he does. He also uses top of the line products. This is the only place I will bring my cars to for tint. While I was there someone drove up from Austin to have work done there. That should tell you something when someone drives 2.5 hours to get work done in their shop. Kudos to the team. read more

I have a cabin cruiser in a marina and needed someone to come out and tint the windows. This can be really tough because of all of the airborne "trash" flying around and the movement of the boat etc. I consulted with John, and it was immediately clear that I had called the right guys! John came out and worked diligently for hours to transform the look of the boat, not to mention the UV and heat deflection. The cabin is so much cooler now, and I would recommend using the products that deliver this level of performance, it's well worth a few extra bucks! I watched him cut the film to fit before applying it to the glass, and he had the confidence and grace of a surgeon. I would hire them again if the need arises! They take time to show you how stuff works and educate you on basic function of their products. They are knowledgeable and willing to answer lots of questions. Never go to vaughans, they do half ass work and they have a sarcastic kid working for them. I had a system installed by them and before i got home the amp turned off, i took it back and waited an hour for them to fix it, ( i got a tshirt out if it). The next morning i realised they didn't put the screws back in my console so i waited another hour, i then had them install another amp and door speakers ( which took about 3 hours). All was good, sounded awesome, then i found out the amplifier was buzzing, i yet again took it back and and they changed out amplifier, they forgot to tweek the new amplifier, so i took it back one more time, and they supposedly had it sounding good again, wrong was i, i ended up tuning it myself and it sounds way better than what they did, while i was in the process of tuning i noticed there were holes in the cab of my truck that you could see daylight through, apparently when they swapped amps the screw holes didn't line up, they just left holes and didn't try to cover them or anything, pretty smart huh? Oh and theres more, when that put my seat back in they "forgot" to mount my seat belt back, please, if your looking to get work done on your system or anything else, avoid this place at all costs, you'll be better off going to car toys or best buy, more professional work, and probably the same price, if not cheaper.. read more

I bought a backup sensor from Vaughans Mobile Electronics .they put it in but from day one when it rained or if I wash it ,it starts peeping constantly while in reverse as if something or someone is right behind my bumper .It beeps for about two days .I took it in 3x or 4 x for this same problem ll to get told they don't know whats wrong with it or they cant find the problem .I went there thinking they where pros at this kind of stuff and it's their product that I bought from him .Now after many attempts to fix it they said they still did't know what was wrong with it so why when it rains or if i washed it it starts the same annoying beeping again while in reverse . Now after many months of this and several attempts later I called them again he says now my warranty had run out on it but fact I had taken it in several times from day one for the same identical non fixable problem which it was under warranty but now he says my warranty is out and he will put in a whole new unit in it but have to pay him $85.00 dollars for the time and labor. Now really why did we have to be forced to suffer with same problem for months on end all to get punished by him for not fixing it right the first time .Now he wants me to pay him for his time once again .Now fact I already had pay to do it right the first time but he didn't .Now if I want it fixed right then I will owe him once again for the same broken product from the start .Now is that really fair for me so i'm not paying him for something they proved he could fix it right under the warranty and do it right .Now I will find someone to turn it off totally now and simply do without it my back up system .Fact I should of went with a Factory unit all all along and nit deal daily this same ongoing unnecessary headache and all my days of wasted gas and time nonsense would of never of happened to us and after months on end of this same redundant pain of a backup system .so I will somehow get it turned off myself one way or another just this crazy thing up. read more
