JooJoo knows stereos and she suggested the Kenwood DMX907S head unit for my 2020 Tacoma. The unit is comparable with most all of the functions that my OEM head unit displayed. The installation went well and is so clean that it looks factory. While my truck was there I had them check out and clean up my amps installation done by another shop. Audio Depot does fantastic work at a very reasonable price. They have also done my window tint and a front speaker upgrade as well, I highly recommend Audio depot as your first stop shop for sound and sun car care. I have been in there several time and JooJoo, John, Javier and the installers are all very knowable and professional. read more

guy doesn't know sh*t clearly. bought some powerbass tesla model 3 door woofers and they blew after 45 mins. returned them and he charged a $30 restocking fee . found a different brand called vibe audio that were $200 more and was asking him what he thought about those bc I had tried 3 different brands and none of them worked on the stock amp. told him how the RMS wattage rating was more than double of the powerbass and he said it wouldn't matter they would still blow. well it's been over a week with these vibe audio speakers and they are working perfect. guy also declined to work on a tesla. this place is just about as good as car toys I highly recommend bonny and clyde over in dallas. not this mediocre a** place in reply to the owners response: why did I get the shipping fee removed from the refund when I drove all the way to your shop an hour away? I live in mckinney. whole reason I drove there is to avoid the shipping fee. and I guarantee you I will not "cook" these speakers. the powberbass were clipping immediately within the first 30 seconds of playing them. haven't heard clipping one single time with these. just admit you're a rookie, it's okay ALSO, the main reason i'm leaving this review is bc I didn't like your sh*t attitude. you attended to 2 customers that came in after me before you wanted to continue our conversation we were having before they walked in. you didn't even say one second i'll be with you after them. you just ignored me. anyways. good luck with your mediocre audio shop. read more

Javier provides excellent customer service! He's a great listener and has great product knowledge.

John offered a fair price and did a great job installing my son's car stereo. He even glued together the dash which I had cracked when installing the previous stereo myself. read more

Quality products, reasonable turnaround time, and they stand behind their work. Wouldn't hesitate to bring any future car upgrades to them.

Their work was great and quick! We have family in the business in another area of TX I consulted so we could make a more educated decision. My granddaughter now has great visibility & she was all smiles! The cost for these 2 front side windows to have ceramic tint installed was less than anticipated. They explained the after care that was necessary & future cleaning products. They were extremely patient as we had numerous delays in arriving to the appointment. I wanted a company I felt comfortable would assist her should she have any issues with their work as we live about an hour apart. Im extremely pleased with their customer service! read more

This is the 5th or 6th vehicle that Audio Depot has tinted for us over the years. When we acquire a vehicle without tint, we know it's going to Audio Depot. Although the tint job has a lifetime guarantee, we've never had to bring a vehicle back for a touch-up or a fix to the tint job. They do it right thr first time. Their prices are fair, equal or better than the competition, and the owners and employees are all friendly. If you want it done right, bring it to Audio Depot! read more

The guys at Audio Depot have always done a great job taking care of my car needs. I took my xD there years ago and when I got my new CH-R they were the first ones I went to see. I was shopping for an upgrade for my F250 with the Sony sync factory audio system, John assisted me and explained they can upgrade the Factory system so I wouldn't loose all of the other controls that run in that system like A/C , Back up camera etc. Audio Depot installed all new door speakers with Alpine brand also new tweeters in the factory locations. His team of absolute professional installers built an amp rack to house the new amplifier for my speakers and to mount my subwoofer amplifier. The install is super clean and very tidy. I really was kind of expecting there to be some little item I might need to address myself because I am a neat freak. There was nothing I had to change with the exception of adjusting the sub amp to my taste. This system sounds killer. I would highly recommend these guys if you are in the market for audio equipment and or installation. I added pic's that really don't show all of the details. I wish I could have taken some with the seat out but it is all finished now. read more

I had an appointment at another audio store for two weeks to repair my rear camera. When I went into the store they told me the senior technician just left for a family emergency and could schedule with him again in another two weeks. So I looked up what other business were close and found Audio Depot, went into the store met "John" who was extremely helpful and said lets take a look at, went back to the shop and had "Sean" take a look at it, within 30 minutes was fixed, I was shocked by their incredible customer service. Purchased a reverse camera for my wife's X5. Thought I only needed the camera. Plugged it in, no worky. The pic was b&w. Called up to to have the owner ask me to bring it in. He said if the camera didn't work, he would replace for free. Upon arrival he realized I had only replaced the camera, not the connection cable to the stereo. He said they were different manufactures and that after replacing the connection cable I'd it didn't work, he would replace the whole thing for free. Went home, replace the entire cable... Viola... All is working and the display looks great. I would recommend and will be back if I have anymore electronic issues. read more

I came to Audio Depot after I bought my Tahoe. I needed a few things done. I wanted a back up camera, 2 headrest DVD's and a upgrade from the factory stereo. I did some shopping around online with other similar car stereo places in the area. Many of the popular places I found such as Car Toys had some bad reviews and that scared me away. The reviews here were excellent. So I decided to give it a shot. When I arrived I was met by John Schellsmidt.Let me start by saying that I couldn't have asked for it to go any better. John and his techs knew exactly what I needed. They were experts when it came to the components I'd need for the install and gave me what I asked for. Didn't try to sell me anything extra. They knew their products. They knew my vehicle. Pricing was fair and upfront. They even threw in the back up camera for free. I'm not sure if that's standard for these guys but I appreciated it. They were able to install everything for me the next day in just a few hours. Clean professional install done by the techs. I'm very particular when it comes to finishes. I couldn't find anything wrong with the install. John came out to my Tahoe with me when I picked it up to go over every detail of the new electronics and answered every question. I never felt pressured or rushed. Well done guys. I'll be a customer here and have already told everyone I know who is looking to have similar installs done about Audio Depot. By the way I spent much less than I expected. I wanted to give it a few weeks before I wrote a review. I haven't had a single issue with the new set up. Kids are happy. Wife is happy. Checking account is happy so I'm happy. read more

I had just learned about LLumar Window Film for automobiles and was fascinated by the products ability to block more than 99% of harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. I found Audio Depot on 4312 Matlock Rd, Arlington, TX 76018 and called them late Thursday afternoon. After discussing over the phone the various shades, they set an appointment for me the very next morning and was first in line. They had my vehicle completed in 1.5 hours. I had the entire vehicle, including the windshield protected with LLumar tint and noticed right away the significant difference it made. The entire staff is very attentive and service oriented, answering any and all questions about the various products they offer. I was very pleased with them, their services and their pricing is very reasonable. Give them a call at: 817-466-2441 or visit them at: http://audiotintdepot.com/ read more

I always get prompt friendly service. I don't know much about installation so these guys always take the time to go through the different options. Prices are fair, some items I can't find cheaper anywhere else including amazon. Installation never takes long since they usually have multiple guys working on a car. I've had two subwoofers installed ,interior LEDs , and today they're putting a viper alarm system in, which they stayed well past closing time to finish. Thank you audio depot! Bought a brand new car & had tint installed days later. It wasn't the best job. There was bubbles and wasn't cut properly. As the owner called it a "trash job." Had it taken off and redone at John's request. The guys somehow damaged my side mirror trim as well as trim around the windows with the heating element they use. Also, tore a spot in rear door panel. John agreed to have it fixed/replaced. At this point was very agreeable and very much doing the right thing as a businessman. He was taking a significant loss. Took car to have the work done to only realize the color of both of my rear door panels had been changed from gray to jet black. Not only changed but painted and the paint was peeling (same day). Went to show him pictures of before and after. He was very argumentative and acting as if I had done something wrong or as if I was asking for something I wasn't entitled to. I should have been the angry one. This is my car, my brand new car that has just been altered and you want to argue with me. I tried to have a rationale conversation with him. To no avail. He was irate and very loud. See you in court John. I would not recommend anyone going to this business. read more

Well, let me begin by saying that you have a lot of choices in the area for your tinting/audio needs, but don't waste your time... Audio Depot should be your first and only stop. Superior materials combined with amazing customer service is the hallmark of this business. For starters, I had to change my appointment time due to some unforeseen circumstances, and Javier and crew were very accommodating. They got me in and out in less than an hour and a half for a complete five window tinting package. A day later, I released my seatbelt in a hurry, she chipped the tint. The Audio Depot staff got me back in for free replacement the next day. These folks are now my go-to shop for all things vehicle upgrade related!!! read more
