Somehow, the appointment was changed to another date after my confirmation -- with no call, no explanation, and no notice. Impressive system. I drove nearly two hours in snowy weather and arrived on time, only to be told my appointment no longer existed that day. When I calmly showed proof and tried to explain, the staff's response was eye-rolling, visible impatience, and zero effort to help resolve an error that was not mine. I was left feeling dismissed, unwelcome, and frankly uncomfortable. I can't say why I was treated that way, but it's hard not to wonder whether appearance or background played a role when basic courtesy and professionalism disappear so quickly. When I asked for their names to document the incident, they refused and told me to leave. If accountability, communication, and respectful treatment matter to you, I'd suggest confirming things multiple times -- and maybe still prepare for surprises.

Because of Covid, I hadn't been to the dentist in a while, so I was really nervous. The office staff is super friendly, and Elizabeth, the dental assistant, definitely put me at ease. Dr. Kolman is extremely friendly and personable with a great bedside manner. I ended up having to get a crown, and so far the process has been painless and quick. In fact,…read moreI absolutely loathed the idea of going to the dentist, and have put off having a lot of work done because of that fear. Given that I was having some of the worst pain I have had in my life, I caved, and called Glendale Dental Associates at 2:10 pm, explained my situation and they told me they could see me at 3pm...as a new patient. (AWESOME). I got there and all of the front desk/admin staff were really nice and friendly, then got in back and the hygienist was really awesome and nice, and she was totally in tune with keeping my pain free...bringing me cold water (the only thing that made my tooth feel better, etc). Then Dr. Cho came to take a look at me, and he was a super nice and down to earth guy, he didn't lecture me on my history of not visiting the dentist very often, lack of flossing, etc. His main goal was getting me out of the writhing pain that I was in. He laid out the plan of attack with two options, explained both, and was actually able to extract my tooth with the plan of replacing it with an implant shortly after. The procedure was painless, and Dr. Cho did a great job...and again...the whole staff was super nice the whole time. I had a preconceived notion, that when I finally did have to go to the dentist, that they would lecture me about the state of my mouth, that it would be super painful, and it would be cold and impersonal....(I had experienced this in the past)....but this experience couldn't have been more opposite.

His office staff is welcoming and friendly. My hygienist (Michelle) took x-rays, cleaned my teeth, and provided some pointers for flossing in hard-to-reach areas. Dr. Horton concluded my visit with an oral examination and discussion of preventative maintenance. I was in-and-out in about an hour. Overall, I was highly satisfied with this experience.
