This would have been alright if she had not proceeded to greet and chat with the next five or so white customers who came in. Additionally, every time my mom went to pick up an accessory, smell a candle, or just look at an object for longer than a few seconds, the woman behind the register would come up to us and quite literally look at and inspect whatever we had just touched. Her eyes followed us wherever we were in the store. I was appalled. Never had I been treated with such disrespect, and her lack of respect and human decency towards my mother was unacceptable. Will not be coming back or ever supporting this racist shop.

Also, when I walked in she said if you find something you like, bring it up to her and she will usually do a deal for less than the marked price. So, don't be afraid to ask her. (I've never even been there and neither has my mom) Julie facetimed with me until we found a beautiful floral italian silk top in great Leo colors! I felt she was supremely sweet, perfectly patient and helped me choose the ideal gift. We planned for my parents to casually walk into the store on their way to dinner in San Juan Capistrano and they would hand her the wrapped gift as a surprise. I did not realize there were two stores and I had ordered from the San Clemente store. Tanya talked with my dad and then she actually brought the gift as well as flowers to my mom at the restaurant! I feel this was extraordinary and quite generous and I am extremely grateful. For sure, I will continue to treat my mom with gorgeous gems from Inspiration and can't wait to visit as well. They carry gorgeous well made brands and the sales associates have mastered the art of attentiveness.

The one thing I really love is that the store is very big and has some great changing rooms. They also have very well organized sections and it doesn't feel cramped. The staff are always friendly, and don't breathe down your neck/give you space to shop around, which I'd prefer. The prices and sometimes out of my budget, but it's mostly great quality items!

But if they allow you, imagine how many other people ask. Then I found out they are all there on consignment, and the owner, a very nasty female, taking exorbitant commissions as her 'fee.' So the other day I was in SC and so I popped in and brought home some used garments in my size. (Still overpriced I see). After wearing a shirt from them, I got the most awful rash of my life and had go to my derm doc, taking the garment with me and found out the garment was loaded with something akin to bed bugs and they bit me all to heck and back. I had to take medicine to get over it and it took over two weeks to resolve. When I asked the owner for a refund, (very nasty lady, did I mention that, rude and condescending), telling her what happened, she flatly refused and so I ended up throwing the garment away! Awful place. Awful owner. Check her other reviews - she was asked to leave Capo Beach by the city of Dana Point and had awful reviews from many people in Dana Point so she fled. STAY AWAY!!
