Every time I try multiple things on, I always have to walk out and look in the mirror while other girls take selfies and ogres of themselves in the mirror and I feel so uncomfortable being in the background. I am a curvy woman who has a big bust and curves, every time I try on my clothes and I have to walk out all the nasty and b**** associates always give me the dirty stares and looks and snicker at me. They all have the nasty attitudes and the absolute worst customer service skills. Sam body shamed me when I was trying on a dress and I am a size 8/10 and she pulls out a size 0 for me to try on, when she clearly sees I'm a curvy woman who's a size 8/10 M/L. They always make me feel uncomfortable when I am trying on clothes glaring at me giving me dirty looks making me feel uncomfortable and laughing at me behind my back to the other associates looking at each other while I look in the mirror. This location has the worst associate and the Yuli who is one of the manager's is extremely rude and very unhelpful. She is extremely fake and doesn't care if you complain how her associates treat you. All she does is apologize in a passive agressive manner. They do not train their employees well with customer service. All of them are unwelcoming, not friendly, and are very disrespectful. Every time I come in to shop here with my boyfriend to buy my clothes, the associates always make it hell and give you the worst in store shopping experience. Everything about the Topanga location is a complete joke. I don't like Yuli the manager or Sam. They are both awful. Even the manager needs to be trained in customer service skills it's pretty sad honestly. The only positive thing I can say is, the most helpful and friendly associates are Mahroo and Pam! Pam made me feel comfortable when I tried on my clothes and made me actually feel confident when I was in the store looking at myself in the mirror. Pam has great customer service skills too Mahroo gives excellent customer service skills and helps pick out great outfits! I recommend asking for Mahroo or Pam, to save yourself a headache from all the other ones. They will both take care of you and make sure you have a great shopping in store experience and find clothes you love. I love Aritzia's clothes and the clothes jaw lays Keisha's and come home with, and the quality of the clothes as well. I live in Calabasas and I will not be returning to this location unless something I need is in stock here and it's my closest store to home. I will be continue shopping online at Aritzia's website and go to the Century City location, where I'll have a much more pleasant and welcoming in store shopping experience and be treated with respect, have better customer service and friendlier welcoming associates, and not be body shamed for being a curvy woman. Fabricated Policies & Repeated Obstruction of a Valid Refund Carter's explicitly states on its official website and printed receipts that any new, non-worn items may be returned within 90 days of purchase. My return met every reasonable expectation of a valid return--the items were brand new, unworn, with all tags attached, and the return fell within the 90-day timeframe. Yet, I was subjected to three separate, baseless obstructions, demonstrating a clear intent to prevent a lawful refund: First Obstruction - Fabricated $200 Return Limit The employee falsely claimed that returns over $200 could not be processed, despite no such limitation appearing in Carter's official return policy or printed receipts. When I clarified that my return was only for approximately $130, she reluctantly proceeded, already demonstrating bad faith in handling valid returns. Second Obstruction - False Claim That I Had to Be "In the System" She then claimed that I could not process a return because I was not registered in Carter's system, an arbitrary and undisclosed requirement. No written policy supports this pre-registration mandate, nor was it disclosed at the time of purchase--a clear violation of California's Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) (Cal. Civ. Code § 1750 et seq.), which prohibits imposing return restrictions not disclosed at the time of sale. After collecting my personal information, she still refused the return, citing a third and final excuse. She explicitly stated, "That's not my problem. You should be the one taking action." Required me to return to the store again to yet another time attempt to rectify a purely internal malfunction issue. I will not be returning to the store after experiencing humiliation, emotional distress, and the outright violation of my consumer rights. This was not my obligation in the first place, and Carter's employee should have been fully aware of that. 3. At this point, this is no longer purely a question of monetary damages, as the refund amount is negligible compared to the blatant consumer law violations and the emotional distress caused. The real issue is Carter's failure to uphold consumer protection laws and the harm inflicted upon customers through outright misrepresentation of policies, humiliation, and undue procedural burdens. Carter's employs undertrained staff who clearly lack the necessary knowledge of corporate policies and consumer protection laws. These employees must be educated on the legal consequences of their words and actions, which are directly attributable to Carter's as a corporate entity. 4. This Issue May Be a Widespread Problem - Potential Class Action Liability It is highly likely that this employee has treated other customers the same way, particularly those unaware of their legal rights. Many consumers may have suffered financial harm, emotional distress, or undue procedural burdens as a result of similar misconduct and deceptive practices.

I didn't realize quite how much less expensive ever was in LA compared to San Francisco. Now, this many years later, it's no longer a thought nor a thing because I've lived here so long, but it was astonishing to me back when I was freshly 22. I picked out about 20-25 pieces of the most beautiful jeans, sweaters, shirts, shoes, tank tops and dresses. I also bought a pair of sweatpants that felt like thick silk, but mostly, like a white tiger- they were the first thing I bought the next morning on my break from work; so, I vividly remember that they were $600 before tax, which, to be honest, I did think they were on the pricey side, but I didn't think of it again. The many items I had purchased the afternoon prior came to almost $23,000, but I never ever in my life looked at prices of anything, so, it was no thing and to this day, I remember probably 7/8ths of what I bought. The clothes were definitely worth it and I would do it again, even now. The only problem is that they don't make clothes how they used to.
