CHEATER Owner, Sammy, refused to honor $100 cash gift card to pay for sale items I was buying. My…read morefriend purchased the gift card for my birthday, paid $100 for it, was not told cannot be used on sale items. Needless to say, what the owner is doing is not just immoral but illegal. I'm sure she's done it to other customers as well. By coincidence, my other friend was shopping with me same day, was paying cash for her multiple items and Sammy tried to give her $20 less in change. Certainly doesn't feel like honest mistake, given how she runs her business. Cheating her customers and also hiding behind the fact that her receipts don't show any itemization, just a date and total dollar amount, so there's no way to tell what she charged for which item. BEWARE! GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO HONEST PROPLE

I heard last month that they are planning to transition to online shopping and I definitely plan to follow them online to support this wonderful clothing store. In today's crazy retail environment it's encouraging to see individual store owners who are committed to providing a welcome space and offer an array of merchandise that appeals to a wide range of customers. Good luck in the new format ladies. I look forward to seeing the new spring fasions!

I was genuinely excited to shop at Hiptique and invested in a pair of expensive jeans, expecting a…read morelevel of service that matched the premium price point. Unfortunately, my experience with Christine Berardi, the owner, left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. When I asked to try a smaller size, the interaction felt judgmental rather than helpful. I also inquired about being added to a waitlist for another item, and the response came across as dismissive and condescending. I understand boutiques have their own policies, but that does not excuse making customers feel judged or talked down to. The jeans are great, but the overall experience felt more pretentious than personable. What was even more disappointing was seeing my original review removed after the owner responded. Honest customer feedback--positive or negative--should be visible so others can make informed decisions. A five-star rating only means something when it reflects real customer experiences. I'm sharing this again because people deserve to hear the full story. For a store that positions itself as a luxury shopping destination, I expected much warmer and more respectful service. I won't be returning.

I had such a wonderful experience at this boutique that I feel compelled to share it. From the…read moremoment I walked in, I was met with warmth, style, and an effortlessly chic atmosphere. On my first visit, Trinity helped me select a range of beautiful tops, jeans, and dresses to try on. She was incredibly attentive without ever being pushy, and she instinctively understood what would work for me. I found so many flattering pieces in my size that I knew I had to come back the next day. When I returned, Christine was there and made the experience just as exceptional. She introduced me to even more stunning pieces and offered honest, thoughtful feedback on how everything looked--something I truly value and rarely find. With her help, I left with two fabulous blouses and the perfect summer jeans. What truly sets this boutique apart is its incredible selection and inclusivity. They carry a wide range of sizes (jeans from 23 to 32+), and the assortment feels both curated and unique--especially the dresses, many from designers I hadn't seen anywhere else. Equally impressive is their no-pressure approach. It's so refreshing to shop in a space where the focus is on helping you feel your best rather than making a sale. The boutique has an easy, elevated Malibu vibe--yet it's right here in Woodland Hills, perfectly situated in the Woodland Hills Country Mart. I genuinely cannot wait to bring my friends back. Kudos to the entire team--this is a rare gem.

First time at this Woodland Hills location and definitely will not be the last…read more After I left Jack in the Box on the 14th of this month, I walked in to this nicely organized, clean store that had a lot of personality. I was greeted by 2 employees. One by the name of Martha and the other one Ashley. Got there a little after 2:25pm. They both wanted to know how they could have helped me? I said I am just browsing for now, once I find out, I will let you know. They both smiled and walked away. Great asset to the company. As I was browsing, few things caught my eye and didn't need them, but liked and wanted them. Prices were very affordable and reasonable. Everything was well organized, and hanging on the racks. All items had their own prices. They also have a lot of designer items. Got myself nice white flat shoes, (small rhinestones all around), later as I was walking around, I noticed a cute, square, white color purse with lots of pockets inside and out, Liz Claiborne, with a nice long strap. It had a little wear and tear on the top & on the strap. The cashier gave me a 10% discount on it. I approached the accessories department, and saw this bulky, round color bracelet with small details on it. It was pretty dope and unique. A lady that was standing next to me said that's from India. I was like oh, ok. I also bought me 2 small perfumes, each for $25, and a lotion that was on sale for only $5.99. Saw this gorgeous black blouse that you can wear going out or just feeling groovy. Casual wear. As I was checking out, got thirsty, got me Sprite and water, also 2 M&Ms. Always have a sweet tooth. For a first time shopper, had a good experience. All that only cost me less than $150.00 including tax. Has a parking lot, not sure about restrooms. That's all I have to say until I return, when I am in the area. A lot of discounted items all around the store.. Thank you Ashley, Martha, management and of course Nordstrom Rack!!

I'm writing this as a calm heads-up for fellow shoppers, not as a rant. I recently bought a pair of…read morepants from Nordstrom Rack and, after just one gentle wear, the fabric reacted strangely and the condition became genuinely unacceptable--clearly a quality issue, not normal wear-and-tear. I returned with my receipt, hoping for a straightforward exchange. Unfortunately, I was assisted by the manager on duty, Tyler (I wasn't given his last name). While I fully understand that return policies have fine print, I was shocked by his approach. Tyler was dismissive from the start, interrupted me several times before I could fully explain the defect, and spoke in a condescending tone that made me feel like I was being unreasonable for even asking. He refused to examine the pants closely or consider that a one-wear item might have a manufacturing flaw. I left without a resolution--not because of the policy, but because the interaction was so unprofessional that I no longer felt comfortable even attempting to negotiate. A useful warning for others: If you buy here, inspect your items carefully and keep all tags, because if a defect shows up later, don't count on management at this location to work with you. Tyler sets a very unwelcoming, rigid tone that completely undermines the brand's usual reputation for service. I hope corporate takes note, because customers deserve basic respect even when a return is denied.

La La Land Cafe and the ice cream spot are our usual go-to places. Lately, the construction has taken away from the experience a bit, but I am hopeful that once it is finished, things will be even better. I just hope the updates are thoughtful and not simply focused on adding more retail, especially in place of something like the movie theater. It would be great to see additions that truly serve and reflect the community. For example, a fountain with a water show, similar to what you see at the Grove or Americana, would be a strong starting point. People and families already feel overwhelmed by the number of shops, and adding more does not necessarily improve the experience. Take Century City Mall as an example. After its remodel (many years ago) added many more stores, I personally stopped going. As someone who works in marketing, I know the first priority is getting people to visit. If visitors lose interest, as I did with Century City, then adding more shops defeats the purpose. I really hope they do not lose sight of what makes the place special. It would be a shame if short-term decisions ended up hurting the atmosphere that people enjoy.
