On the white dress, I was able to quickly wash off the stain with just water! They probably did not even wash that dress! It's one thing to not be able to remove stains, but it's another to not even send an apology or explanation for their failure. This is completely unacceptable. Also, some of the dresses are still wrinkled, which makes me wonder if they even pressed the dresses! What did they do exactly other than pick up and deliver the dresses back to me and then charged me?

Imagine getting a text from the owner saying: "there is absolutely no way garments can shrink in dry cleaning (that's kind of the whole point of getting garments dry cleaned.)" So.... I guess between the time the clothes were worn, sent to Hamper and then returned, they just magically shrank all on their own!! Of course it wasn't their cleaning process, where my clothes even SMELLED BURNT FOR A WEEK. They are magically shrinking clothes!  Obviously this owner couldn't care less about his customers or reputation. I sent videos of me trying on the too-small blazer, photos comparing the silk blouse to an identical style/size blouse, demonstrating that it is several sizes smaller. I even said I was willing to try on the blazer for the owner in person! Their response? Radio silence. No call, no text, NO RESPONSE. They haven't even refunded what I paid for their service! I moved to Houston from NYC not too long ago. It is stressful to find professional service providers to trust and this was my first dry cleaning experience here. My trust has been eroded and this has been an incredibly anxiety-provoking experience. I will be filing in small claims court to recover some of the $1000+ that the garments cost me. What a waste of time and energy for everyone.
