I don't personally vape but the BF does. Recently he found out that his "usual" vape store went out of business. I went online to search SubZero distributors here in the SoCal region. Luckily I found Vape101. Not only is it close to home but they have a wide assortment of brands to choose from. The store is located in a strip mall in the back. The signage is visible but it's a bit small. Anyway they don't really have deals at least not the few times I've gone. Their people have lots of knowledge. Oh and guys apparently July 1st, 2022 the CA tax on vape and tobacco products is going up to 12.5%. read more

When I came here back when they first opened, the shop was pretty bare. A few months later, I decided to give this place another shot and I'm sure as hell glad I did! Their customer service was always great, but their selection and inventory expanded like crazy. This place is definitely top tier! Good people, good vibe. Hence the name vape 101, they don't have a big selection on hardwares but their juice selection is nice. Their prices is decent since they're retailing stuffs from wholesale online sites. They do carry full line of High Voltage which is a rare thing cause shops around OC don't carry full line especially the blue kiwi flavor. They also have 100mg CBD juices but for $40 I can pick up 150mg bottles from other places though. Pre charged batteries is a plus. I would reccomended you come here for your juice needs, but for hardwares, come a few blocks down to cypress college and visit the shop over there for larger selections. read more

When it comes to service and prices, Vape 101 gets 5 stars. It has been the most reasonably priced shop that I have been to. The owner, Vin, is personally in the store most of the time and makes sure that you are provided with great service. I had some issues with a mod and he worked on it multiple times and only charged for a coil rebuild. The last time he spent over an hour on it, and didn't charge me for it. I had to accept that the lifetime of my mod was overdue and it was time for a new one. During the whole time though, Vin never suggested I buy a new one. Other store owners would have been eager to try and upsell but he recommended that we try and exhaust all repair options first (never charging me for the repairs). The new mod I got was great and he gave it to me at a great price. This is old school customer service where the owner goes out of his way to make sure you are happy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a mooch and he doesn't give out stuff for free. As a customer I expect to pay a reasonable price - it has to be a win for both parties. I also like how Vape 101 is not a hangout for the employees and their buddies. So many Vape shops I go to these days are full of really young 20 somethings that just hang out all day with their friends and staff end up just chatting with them rather than serving paying customers. I gave 5 stars because these guys are AMAZING with mods! I dropped mine and I bent it up real good twice,yep twice. Without even charging me they fixed it no problem. You should expect to wait though because it is a small business but totally worth it. Variety of juices but no happy hour and no bathrooms. read more

Great service & knowledgeable staff. The guy working last night was very friendly & seemed to know what he was talking about. But, the young lady that helped me today seemed to know a bit more. I bought a new mod , got home & it wouldn't register my batteries. When I came back today to figure out the issue, the gal immediately recognized the batteries and the solution. If I didn't live so far away, I would become a regular. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the 1st guy said my existing batteries would power the unit, which they didn't. Vinny is a nice guy, but overcharges everything. Bought a low maintenance vape that he charged me $44 for the display. I'm pretty new to vape and wanted to see if there were any special things to add on to this vape, come to find out you can buy it online for as low as $15.99 no shipping fees brand new. Went back to buy more juice at $19, all juices we're on sale for only a dollar less, which disqualified all stamps. Went to another vape shop, the same size of juice I bought there was on a clearance rack for $6.99. He's a nice guy, but if you don't want to be over charged for everything, shop around. read more

This place just lost my business for ever. I bought a bottle of juice there and the stem inside didn't allow the top to close all the way and it all leaked in my pocket. Brought it back to the store and the owner said he would not replace it that it was my fault. 13.00 dollars down the drain. This is a great and friendly environment for both newbies and experts to go for all of their vape needs! I personally went in there to get a starter kit and try out some of their juices, but I noticed them helping out this other guy with some pretty advanced stuff. The staff spent a lot of time on me and allowed me to try almost every juice they had. They have a bunch of tester vapes so you can just sit around tasting all of the different flavors. I've spoken with clerks at vape shops who have confirmed I can exchange product for something of equal or greater value, but not at Vape101. Part of the issue I have is the fact that I was never informed that all sales were final when I made my purchase, complicated by the fact that my receipt says "Drip tips & EJuice are not refundable." which leads me to conclude that just about anything else CAN be returned/refunded, nope! There's a small hand-written note that says "All sales final" and the explanation I got as to why is as bad as the hand-written note. I was told there are no refunds because people could go somewhere else to shop around, and if they find a better deal they may come back for return/refunds but this isn't allowed. Since when? While I was still polite and kept my composure, I won't be returning. read more

The first time I went into this store it was extremely clean and had a bar like atmosphere. Everything was very well organized and the employees were very kind. They had many of the juices that other locations did not carry and always has me coming back because they have great deals.
