We're talking true National Treasures still in regular use and the Vibe you get from being around such history is literally Inspiring And EOTE definitely contributes in all the most positive ways to that vibe and for Me personally, actually raises the feeling a notch because it offers me everything I need and want in a local Cigar Lounge and Smoke Shoppe, the exterior grabs you the moment you pass by getting to the uber close Public Parking lot, the 1776 version of USA Old Glory and Cuban flags hang high from the stone walls plus a large Cigar model that gets the attention true Cigar Aficionados or Novices then you look thru the large glass windows and see all of the museum like artifacts then you open/go thru the front door and as anyone whose ever walked into a large Cigar Humidor, been in a Cigar Factor or other Earthly Wooden (think Cedar) room before so when the Aromaliterally Greets You by your sense of smell it just puts you in a Great Mood and the rest is Pleasant History one needs to Experience for Themselves . I've become fast Friends with the Shoppe Manager, actual Owner who actually has 2 Great Stories about himself and family to share , Regular Patrons who don't just come and go, no they buy their fav brands from the lower level store then come upstairs to smoke, is BYOB so enjoy your own Bev of Choice, listen to some of the most amazing Music that truly takes you to different parts of the globe and play rounds of backgammon or chess and since I've only had the pleasure of visiting in the Winter months so far but keep hearing about how nice it is to do those same inside things out on the walkway in Spring and Summer yes I need some of that in my life as well really soon too . We had a general question for the manager, John, and his attitude toward us was very unfriendly and dismissive. He approached us as if we were bothering him, didn't greet us like a good manager would have, and made us feel like we shouldn't have asked the question in the first place. That's not how I would expect a manager to interact with customers. I'm also concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant. I personally saw a mouse running around the restaurant when I was there in February. In addition, someone I know who has been inside the kitchen told me they observed a significant amount of what appeared to be rodent droppings. I can't personally verify what they saw in the kitchen, but combined with the mouse I witnessed myself, it's concerning enough that I think the health department should take a look. Good servers and staff can only do so much when management and cleanliness are concerns. I really hope these issues are addressed.

This is the second class we've attended at the Cherry Hill location. They always have a robust calendar of monthly events, many of which are only $20 per person. So reasonable! You must purchase your tickets in advance (online). Seating is open (classroom style) and they provide light refreshments at the start of the event (meats, cheeses, fruit, and crackers). I am a big proponent of hydration and they have tons of water on hand. The classes are led by Total Wine and More employees and each person has their own unique style. They normally start with a PowerPoint presentation about the featured wines, and then wine sipping begins shortly thereafter. Our only "gripe" is the time it takes for the wine glasses to be filled. They have one person filling the glasses, and when the class is packed, it takes them a while to get to everyone. This disrupts the flow of the session. It may be beneficial to begin filling the glasses at the start of the class, rather than just as we are about to begin tasting. That aside, we always walk away feeling like we learned something valuable and fun. They offer nice discounts if you decide to purchase the wines you sampled. They in no way pressure you to purchase anything you tasted. We look forward to attending additional events!
