The young man working on 10/28 around 7:30pm should be fired. The guy working behind the counter was having an incredibly personal, emotionally charged argument on the PHONE'S SPEAKER in the middle of the store with I presume his girlfriend. There were two customers present, myself included, and we were unwillingly subjected to what sounded like an extremely distressing situation. He was threatening to kick her out, calling her names, and speaking to her in a way that was incredibly disrespectful. He was almost laughing it off, while the girlfriend was having a panic attack on the other end. Let me be clear: this was not simply unprofessional behavior. It was completely unacceptable. Having so little regard for your customers that you conduct an intimate, volatile personal argument on speakerphone in front of them is shocking enough. But hearing the way this man spoke to a woman who was clearly in distress made the situation even worse. I ultimately felt compelled to speak up and tell him that his behavior was unacceptable and that he should never speak to a woman that way. No woman deserves to be belittled, insulted, or threatened like that, and there is absolutely no excuse for treating someone that way. I walked in prepared to spend my money and instead, I walked out disgusted by what I witnessed. I will not be returning, and I sincerely hope management understands how damaging it is to have an employee behave this way in front of customers and condone this behavior to women. Basic professionalism and basic human decency should not be too much to expect from someone representing a business. And if you're the girl on the phone reading this - I see you, I hear you, and I believe you. You deserve so much better than that excuse of a man, and it's never too late to choose yourself. After bringing it back to the store the same day, telling them it wasn't charging, I was told there were no exchanges allowed but this would be "an exception".
