After sitting down and reviewing the menu, my friends decided on the frozen rosé, while I stuck with a Coke since I was driving. The soda hit the spot, but my friends found the frozen rosé a bit bitter and weren't fans. For starters, we highly recommend the garlic bread and pepperoni rolls. The sauces served with them tasted fresh and were packed with flavor. After appetizers, we ordered three pizzas and a Caesar salad. The restaurant got busier after we sat down, and our food took a little over 30 minutes to arrive. When the pizzas finally came out, they were absolutely worth the wait. They were visually appealing, and we couldn't wait to dive in. I ordered the veggie pizza, and it was so good. Our friends got the White Tiger pizza and added prosciutto, while my husband ordered the mushroom pizza with added sausage. It took us a few years to finally try Joy, but I can confidently say they make an awesome pizza in a relaxed, chill atmosphere.

The host had absolutely no sense of urgency or hospitality, she was just leisurely walking around and took forever to come back after seating someone. Honestly super frustrating. I'd be less frustrated if we had gotten a "hi, I'll be with you in just a second", or even any sort of acknowledgment, but no such luck. We felt like an annoyance being there. The patio is gorgeous, such a nice spot, but it is insanely loud. I don't know what it is about it but the noise is so amplified we could barely hear other talk. And there were quite a few open tables so it wasn't packed or anything. Service was good, our waiter was on top of it and quick, but the food was fairly mediocre. We ordered the stracciatella and sourdough and it came with 6 of the absolute tiniest spears of sourdough I've ever seen...for $16. We finished it in about a minute. The pizza was good but nothing to write home about, I expected a bit of a bigger pizza for the price just based on other places we've been to in town. Good but really nothing special. Neither of us ordered a drink but we saw them walking out with cocktails and they had to be some of the smallest cocktails I've ever seen. Overall I feel like this place is pretty overpriced for what you get, and the service at the host stand kind of ruined the experience off the bat for us. I had a Negroni made with Cambio Tequila Blanco at a discounted price of $9. The regular price for a mezcal Negroni is $15. Very good. Indie 102.3 hosts also did short versions of the top 15 bands from 2025. A nice evening.

At the time they said it's something they're doing in partnership with the Denver Public Library (DPL) every other month on a Tuesday night. We saw an osbcure, older blaxploitation superhero film that was funny at times! Probably not intentionally, or was it? I have no idea! They DPL even had a card maker for you to get a new library card! And told me about Kanopy, an app I can sign up for with DPL and watch free movies at home! They also had some free magnets of the movie, which was pretty cool. The bar had a video game in there and I think they may have music sometimes, too. It's an interesting mix that somehow works really well. The cocktails were excellent. Everything we tried was well balanced and thoughtfully made. We also ordered a few small bites and they hit the spot. One thing we didn't expect to find there is that they also have an escape room connected to the lounge, which makes the whole place even more unique. Definitely a fun and different spot in the Santa Fe area. I'm looking forward to going back and trying the escape room next time.
