Used to come here to buy Puff Bars because the location was convenient and they had alot of selection, but the last two times we've gone they only had lychee available and 3/4 bars we purchased either didn't work or were weak. There was only one employee working when I came in on a Saturday evening, and there were no other customers. The guy working there quickly came from the back to assist us, but he seemed to really not want to work, and he made me feel like I was bothering him. When I decided to purchase the only juice he recommended me, it was expired. He apologized and went to get me a new one, but all bottles of that flavor were expired. Danny and Alex are exceptional- zero complaints about this place. They have anything one could need/want and more. I like the location, too. It's right off the freeway, so I can always stop by on my way home- super convenient! I have been going to Vape & Co. for years and spent good amount of money every visit. Although they have a very limited selection and the prices are not the best, I generally had a good experience here. This is the closest local retail vape shop from where I live and very convenient to stop by real quick and buy something for instant gratification. However, I went there today because two out of seven or so were defective and did not provide a single puff after opening a brand new product. I brought it back to exchange them and the guy working at the time, by the name Austin, was very rude and basically told me "tough luck" and said there is nothing they can do about it. Uhm they sold me defective products and can't even inspect it and try to resolve it for a loyal customer? What a shady business! I asked Austin to contact the owner or the manager to get approval for an exchange. I even informed him I was calling from right outside the shop in my car. He was firm on saying that's the store policy to not allow refund or exchanges. I was like uhm excuse me, you don't sell defective products and tell the customer to screw off. Who does that? And what kind of retail store has no ability to contact the owner or manager during business hours? I feel that I was treated very unfairly and I don't think I will be supporting this business again, ever. I usually spend close to $100 every visit and many times over 100. They.lost a customer because Austin was being unprofessionnal and did not stand behind their products. I bet you the owner would be more upset to lose me as a customer compared to an employee contacting him and disturbing his weekend. I'd be pissed if my employee treated a customer like that. All because Austin waned to be stingy over two disposable sticks that probably costed them like $5 or so at their wholesale cost. That was very rude and irresponsible. Did not stand behind their products at all and was very rude. Didn't even bother inspecting the products or even ask about what happened. He kept saying I need to waste my time and gas and come back on weekdays in order for me to have a chance at talking to the manager or owner. Then he hung up on me. Thank you Austin, you ruined years of efforts other employees built up. I don't want to be harsh on the business but they should have trained him better. That was unacceptable and extremely rude. I probably won't give them my business unless it's an emergency. Even then, I'd drive a little further and spend little bit more at other shops nearby with much more inventory selection to choose from and with better customer support. I have never seen a store like Vape & Co. throughout 10+ years of vaping and visiting countless stores all over Southern California. read more

While it is true that prices are a bit higher than other shops (especially juice), I don't think a lot of people realize that this is the only legally licensed vape shop in Irvine. Vape shops aren't allowed to open in Irvine but this store was grandfathered in. Plus, the rent is obviously higher here than other places. While I do go elsewhere for juice, if you look at coils they're only like a couple bucks more expensive than the place I go to. I don't mind like a $2 extra charge since this is the closest shop to me, plus I get to support the only shop in Irvine's foreseeable future. If this shop closes down, we'll have nothing. In my long time experience going here the staff has always been nice and helpful. Always has people actually interested in talking to you about vapes, no lazy employees. The reason for the 4 stars though is because once or twice I did get conflicting opinions on things like what juices to use on what vapes from different employees (one guy told me freebase was ok in the simpler vapes but I kept getting burnt coils, the other told me I have to use a mod). read more

Got this horrible disposable called side bae/ side piece idk the Name. The first one didn't work at all in the store so he replaced it for me and the 2nd one worked at first but within 10min of me leaving the store and trying it again a few times it's already burnt and the taste is super off. I called and they won't replace it even though it's only been like 15 min since I left the store. The guy explained in the store that once I left the store they can't replace it but at that point I already feel bad for taking up the guys time u can tell he's getting impatient Bc the first one didn't work I wasn't gonna sit in the store and take more puffs to see if it works. Not the standard shop! As I get deeper and deeper into the wonderful world of Vape and vaporizers, I have made my way into many different stores. I rarely write reviews unless my experience was super awful, or was off the hook. This place is off the hook! As I approach the front door I notice a clean and welcoming store front. As I made my way Inside the store I noticed beautiful hardwood flooring, a little hardwood table and benches for re building, and some comfy furniture to the rear. There is also an awesome hard wood vapor bar for your sampling needs. As I enter Vape & Co I am greeted by the store owners Dan and Danny with a smile and a hello. I express my thanks for the air-conditioning being on and Danny says, Kenny? He recognized my voice and remembered my name from my phone call earlier in the day, and that says a lot! The shop is not to dark and not to bright, just the right amount of light to set the mood and offer a relaxing atmosphere. Now let's get into the products. I would use an analogy like comparing Johnnie Walker Red label to Johnnie Walker Blue label. Yes, they are both scotch, but one is far better quality. Some Vape shops have some decent juice, but Vape & Co takes it to the next level... just like Johnnie Walker Blue label. One particular brand of juice and flavor/s that I would highly recommend would be " Five Pawns " - " Grandmaster " Or " Gambit ". There is a saying, " you have to crawl, before you can walk " and I'm sure you all have heard it. What I mean is, as you try different juices and you think you like what you smell and can kind of taste. You have not experienced a complex and wide range of flavors coming from one juice like " Grandmaster " Or " Gambit " until you try " Five Pawns " line of flavors. AHHH-MAZING! So I am currently using a GUS SS mechanical Mod, with a Igo - L drip Atomizer. I am so new to Vapes, that I have been having problems rebuilding my atomizer and getting my wicks to burn correctly. Well Matt, a friend of the shop, sat me down and wrapped some 3mm Silica wick on my Igo - L for me for free. He took the time to show me each step so I had a good idea of how to do it myself next time. So while I was there I bought a new Nitecore i4 Intellicharger ( $30 ) , one more Efest battery ( $12 ) ( now I have three 18650's ) and a 30ml of the Grandmaster ( $27.50 ) and they ( Matt ) wrapped my atomizer for free. Once you have a proper rebuild done and your vaporizer works like it should, and you have a Premium juice in there... you will be so amazed with the the flavor and the clouds you can blow! they also offer tons of mods and cartomizers for your vaping needs! I can't say enough about this place to explain how happy I was to spend my hard earned money at a Vape shop that treats you like a person, not a number. Do yourself a flavor and get down there to experience what true customer service is all about, you will not be disappointed! read more

Went in and purchased a Cali Bar and after 5 hits it tasted very burnt, I assumed it was just a bad bar so I went back in and got 2 more (different flavors) Both bars had the same effect and after some hits there was a very bad burnt taste. I decided to go back in to ask for replacements and the worker "Jose" was being super rude who refused to help me at all. He insisted it was my fault be I didn't test the product before leaving the store. When I asked to speak to the manager or owner he refused to contact him as he would say the same thing, and it's against policy to "replace any product even if it is defective". I wouldn't be surprised if this place was selling fake Cali Bars so *BE AWARE*. Will dispute with my bank and never come back. read more
