This is THE BEST medical transportation company I have EVER ridden with, and I have ridden with almost all that are in this area! Their vehicles are always clean and well maintained. I've never heard 'funky' engine noises, or have wheel-wobbling like I've experienced with other companies. And the EMPLOYEES!!! OMG, the kindest, sweetest people! I have never met a grumpy face!!! I reserved a ride with Five Star Special Transport on Sunday night for Monday afternoon and was worried they might not be able to arrange a pickup with less than 24 hours notice. Jacqueline reached out to me by 10am Monday, confirmed the time of our ride, and answered all my questions. The driver, Gary, arrived on time, helped my mother get into the wheelchair, and made sure she was very securely placed in the van. The van itself was modern, clean, and well-equipped. Both Jacqueline and Gary were kind and professional. I'll definitely be using their service again when my Mom needs it. Thank you, guys!

This wonderful company and it's marvelous employees has treated me with respect, worked with my limited schedules, and just been amazing to me personally and to work for. They fulfill my dreams of adventure by meeting wonderful clients every day and going places I wouldn't ever go and getting paid for that adventure. I did work for another company for 8 months. So I am able to differenciate working for a company that was absolutely a nightmere to work with the office staff and their office managers personal bullying of the employees under her supervision ( I will not name this company as that would make me as unprofessional as they were in their lackscidazeical attitude towards work and their treatment of their employees) and working for a really good professional, caring company.

Lucked out with same day door to door service - We've been able to call on these guys a couple of…read moretimes in a hurry and pinch with very fast response and flexibility. Sometimes emergencies or rush situations happen and scheduling medical transport with wheelchair capability can be a serious hassle since most transport requires advanced scheduling and planning. COMPARISONS - Sadly many insurance don't cover non-emergency medical transport. Getting old isn't cheap and medical transport isn't either, compared to other similar services ANEMT rates are average to a little better. MetroWest transport is the most popular and great, but they are constantly booked at least 1-2 days out or 5-10 hours for same day. MetroWest also has stair capable wheelchairs and stretchers by request and door to door service. TriMet offers basic medical transport for fairly cheap via shuttle, but they don't offer door to door so you'll need someone to push if the chair isn't motorized and electric. Uber and Lyft have wheelchair capable vehicles, but again, no door to door service and requires advanced scheduling. Interestingly Kaiser Washington State insurance covers non-emergency transport, but not in Oregon. Above and beyond - Along with being able to respond quickly with door to door service, they helped with transferring inside the home to and from the wheelchair. Aways super nice and friendly guys. Easy pay via credit card through a tex message link or over the phone. Have questions, be sure to ask, they are very helpful and accommodating. I was impressed with the driver who helped me into the vehicle, which was clean and comfortable. I was even asked if I had preferred radio station. The driver was friendly and we had a nice conversation to my appointment. Once there, I was assisted out of the car and walked to the door. My return ride was prompt with very little wait time.
