Sometimes emergencies or rush situations happen and scheduling medical transport with wheelchair capability can be a serious hassle since most transport requires advanced scheduling and planning. COMPARISONS - Sadly many insurance don't cover non-emergency medical transport. Getting old isn't cheap and medical transport isn't either, compared to other similar services ANEMT rates are average to a little better. MetroWest transport is the most popular and great, but they are constantly booked at least 1-2 days out or 5-10 hours for same day. MetroWest also has stair capable wheelchairs and stretchers by request and door to door service. TriMet offers basic medical transport for fairly cheap via shuttle, but they don't offer door to door so you'll need someone to push if the chair isn't motorized and electric. Uber and Lyft have wheelchair capable vehicles, but again, no door to door service and requires advanced scheduling. Interestingly Kaiser Washington State insurance covers non-emergency transport, but not in Oregon. Above and beyond - Along with being able to respond quickly with door to door service, they helped with transferring inside the home to and from the wheelchair. Aways super nice and friendly guys. Easy pay via credit card through a tex message link or over the phone. Have questions, be sure to ask, they are very helpful and accommodating. Good service, responsive, fast and better pricing than most. Thanks for taking good care of our family.

Instead of calling poison control, I was rushed to the ICU where nurses spent all their efforts into convincing me that I had tried to harm myself. During this, I had four seizures before they decided to call Poison control to receive treatment instructions. Four seizures could have been prevented if they had called poison control immediately. I bit my tongue several times and bled profusely. They told me that my tongue will heal quickly, and refused to also treat that wound. It has not healed in almost a month. I had to see my primary care provider elsewhere to receive help. I felt neglected, as if they didn't really care. They weren't trying to treat me, but shove me in their mental health unit, when I had not tried to hurt myself. Their judgement of my character and actions was unwarranted and their actions felt harsh and punitive in nature. Eventually they called poison control and administered medication that would have effectively prevented this whole ordeal. I will never go back. All of the other hospitals in Portland are far better options with far better care that doesn't lack compassion and judgement by a very near sighted and uncaring staff. I am trying to not take this personal, and ruminate, but it was traumatic and embarrassing, and has led me to seek help in dealing with it. Thanks for reading and I hope you find this helpful in making decisions on where to seek care in an emergency.

The Good: The driver was incredibly friendly and chatty. He actually gave us some fantastic restaurant recommendations to check out while we celebrate my birthday here in Portland. The Bad: The interior of the car was quite smelly, which wasn't a great way to start the trip. The Unacceptable: We took the cab late at night (around 10:50 PM) with absolutely zero traffic. The 20-minute ride somehow racked up a $58 meter fare, which seemed unusually high even with the standard airport drop fee. However, the real issue happened at drop-off. I handed the driver a $100 bill, and he claimed he couldn't break it, returning only $30, essentially forcing the airport run to a whopping $70 out-of-pocket. While I appreciated the local dining tips, using the "no change" excuse on arriving airport passengers is an unprofessional way to pocket extra cash. Tip for future riders: If you take a cab from the PDX line, make sure you pay with a credit card or carry exact change so you don't get hit with a forced tip.

Ms. McNew, through deceptive accounting on the Probate case, was able to cover up a nefarious transaction with Court approval, commit unethical mail fraud against my ex-wife, commit unethical pre-inheritance Gifting to one heir alone, and grossly undervalue and misreport asset values purposefully. I have evidence to support all of these claims. I have also reported Ms. McNew to the Center for Guardianship Certification organization for a formal review of her misconduct and illegal actions - and possible revocation of her certification. Impact NW has been reported to the FTC and BBB as well.
