My wife and I were looking for a landscaper to pull out weeds and other pest plants on our property and do periodic landscape maintenance, as we are unable to keep up with the weeding.
I found Vantage Landscape on the internet and called them up. Luz (Lucy), the office manager, answered my call, and I learned that we were just outside of their service area, but she would ask the owner Whander if he would be willing to drive to our property to inspect the situation and possibly provide a quote. Luz called back later, and stated that Whander would not be able to do the maintenance work, but would be willing to provide a quote for the initial weeding.
Whander showed up on time and we walked through my property. He noticed that we had two vines that were wrapping around our evergreen trees that need to be removed. He also proposed planting a Hydrangea in an area where the weeds would be pulled. After Whander spent about 30 minutes looking over my property and answered my questions, he said he will write up a quote for the work. It took a few days to get the estimate, with Luz was doing her best to make sure it was submitted. Vantage Landscape uses an online software to present the estimate, so it's pretty easy to access the document.
As of this writing, I am comparing Vantage's quote with other landscapers' quotes, but if you value good customer service and are in their service area, it would be worthwhile to give Vantage a call. Vantage was first one of 4 landscapers I called who actually replied! read more
