We had an enormous norway maple removed from our small backyard. The stump was over 9.5 ft in diameter and could not be removed with a grinder because the tree had grown over at least a dozen large belgian blocks. Isaac and his crew did an incredible job removing the stump and blocks by hand to level our yard. They finished the job by seeding grass and setting some of the blocks along the side of our property underneath a new fence. The job was definitely bigger than they anticipated but never once complained tried to change the price. The crew was on time and respectful. The masonry work was impeccable. Communication with Isaac was terrific. I will absolutely use them again. read more

Unprofessional service. They charge you and don't get to work done. All they look to do is overcharge and take advantage. I used them to reseed a small patch and they told me the seeds take 2 months to grow because they are special. I was fooled by this guy Isaac who was really nasty. Stay away from these bloodsucking people, they are not honest. read more

Sammy’s Landscaping - Bad job reseeding the patch by Sammy's landscaping of new Rochelle - Snow Removal Near Me

I just started using Sammy's Landscaping after many years with another service and I am very happy with the switch. Now I wish that I had gotten rid of the old service long ago. Isaac at Sammy's is detail oriented, proactive, thorough & reliable. He's super-clear in his communication and is very professional, yet still very friendly. To top it all off, his rates are transparent & extremely fair. Yes. This is a real review and was not written by his mother. LOL. So far we've just done spring clean up but I'm looking forward to entrusting more complex landscaping work to Sammy's. I'll keep you posted. read more

Sammy's landscaping delivers excellent lawn care service every time, right on schedule.

My retaining wall was severely cracked and leaning due to tree roots from my neighbor's property. Isaac was really great to work with. He was flexible with my timeline and working with my neighbor. He was always very responsive when I contacted him, and revised the scope numerous times upon my request. The team completed the job on-time and to specification. I would work with him again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a landscaping team. read more

Sammy's Landscaping is amazing! I worked alongside Isaac and his dad to give my front yard a much needed facelift and we are beyond pleased. They are hard working, reliable and gave us the most reasonable quotes (and stuck to those quotes). They check in with me after jobs were completed and stopped by to make sure that the grass was growing, plants and bushes were adapting and would send me pictures from nurseries in order to get exactly what we wanted. They are the BEST! read more

I saw workers working at my neighbors property and I was impressed by the work that they were doing. I approached one of the guys his name is Isaac and I asked if he had time if he could come and do some work on my property. He was very professional. He gave me an estimate for everything that I asked him to do and then I got back to him in a few days. He constructed a new walkway, and then he also planted plants and supplied gravel that I needed. He power washed my patio and the surrounding walls. He and his men did alot of work and I received a receipt for everything which I was impressed with and appreciated. they were very reliable and worked in a timely fashion. I would definitely hire them again. read more

We have been working with Sammy's for over two years now. Issac and his Dad explain things fully and always give reasonable prices - while offering choices regarding the work needed and other things I have wanted done like tree removal and masonry. He always reaches out to suggest things a keep the lines of communication open. We just did spring clean up and will possibly begin seeding. They are a father son team that is a pleasure to work with. read more

This is a family owned business and both father and son helped moved debris from my yard after we moved into a new house. They are friendly and I'm happy to have them come back for snow removal the next time bad weather strikes. read more

Great people, polite and efficient. very smooth and we are happy with the service. Good price too.

Isaac from Sammy's Landscaping has been our "go to" landscaping guy. This was the second project that he did for us and couldn't be more pleased. I contacted Isaac and he was able to come by for an estimate that very afternoon. The following day he texted to say that he sent me an email with a quote, which included a detailed description of what the work would entail, payment schedule, and the start date that was in less than two weeks. All in all, I was very happy with the whole process! From my experience as a new home owner and working with a variety of contractors, the communication I received from Isaac was incomparable; from coming the same day I contacted him for an estimate, emailing the following day with the quote and then contacting me that he was able to start the project the day before his "start date," is seriously rare and unheard of and is a reason in itself that I continue to work with him! Isaac and his team did an amazing job with the project; making a Belgium block boarder in our backyard. They were professional, came on time and did fabulous work! They took all of the debris, cleaned the blacktop, and even covered the blocks/cement with tarps as it was supposed to rain that evening. There were 5 men who completed the project in just one day! (Another plus; finishing the project before the estimated time of 4 days!) We are so pleased with his work, we asked him to give us an estimate for other projects! From his communication to excellent work, I couldn't recommend him highly enough! If you are in need of any backyard projects and landscaping needs, (last year he made a platform for our shed) Isaac is your guy! read more

These guys are the best! We originally hired them to landscape our front yard and all of our evergreens. They did such a great job for such a great price that we continue to use them for weekly maintenance and any other projects we need (ie: the fire pit they constructed in our backyard)!! So friendly and professional too! read more
