The sales people were very helpful however do not go here unless you have them ring up the shoe that you'd like before you pay for it because they would not honor the sticker on the box and they said that was happening a lot. I told him they have to honor the sticker price on the box and they said OK but then the sale doesn't apply to you. As a human with oddly shaped feet I find that it's difficult to find shoes, period. As a vans person, I feel the need to express my concern for this "outlet". no matter the scale or size of one's foot, we all want it today or sometimes NEED it today. Then we're happy to pay whatever for a shoe, however the prices are not cheaper than online, and the sale shoes (with the orange sticker) are a joke. Even In this day in age, a Vans truck arrives to this particular store EVERY-DAY. the service is friendly give it take, and don't get me wrong thhas nothing to do with staff. though the employee turnover seems unreasonably .. er, um, high. Sorry for the rant here but not sorry, they could just as easily put the other half of the shoes in stock on sale, it's not like they're not gonna sell them. Especially since they started making "wide" foot options... All I am saying is, it take the fun out of being able to surprise your loved one or a friend or co worker with a fresh pair of kicks without it being something as obscure as a hot pink vans croc. Maybe you're into that, no judgement, but what is the point of going somewhere when you can order exactly what you want EVEN CUSTOMIZE THE SHOE YOURSELF on the website for literally the same price -- if not cheaper. It's just disappointin that no one is interested in talking shop anymore, it's just buy the shoe or dont but hurry and get out mentality that makes me want to Leave and go buy the thing online anyways. Maybe in the future, someone will actually put the time in to make these exec desicions. Maybe everyone is in the *real life* vans famiiy and just gets hooked up all the time. Always great deals!!! Sometimes it is hard to find a size but you have to remember that it's an outlet so for a good deal it can be a hit or miss at the time. Just keep an open mind because every where in the stores they have less product at the moment. I was able to get a few pairs of shoes I only gave a four because sometimes no one's there to really help you find a size but it okay when you get to the cashiers they are always so friendly. I wouldn't recommend the spray they sell I have gotten it and sprayed it on a lot of shoes and never helps. Check it out yourself for the great deals. read more

I've worn Vans for years and have never gotten tired of them. I personally love wearing them but they might not be the best for everyone because they are very flat. They usually break in pretty fast they can be a little tight before you break them in though. I recommend getting your show measured with their stick because their sizes are a bit different from other brands. Overall they're great shoes. read more

Love this store! My only reason to go to the SM outlet. Staff is friendly, helpful and always lets you know about the sales. Staff wears masks and they have sneeze guards at check out. Beyond that, if you don't feel safe shopping in store during a pandemic then don't blame that on the size of the store or their protocols. You can always order online. Great customer service. The sales team is always actively on the floor helping customers. I've always had someone there when we needed to check the back for a shoe size or a certain sweater. The store is almost always busy... so give yourself a little extra time to shop. read more

Customer service here sucks. I was greeted upon walking in by a worker that was on her phone making a phone call which was a small indicator of poor service, but not bothered. The next instance was I already knew what kind of shoe style and size I was looking for, unfortunately no workers were around to help ya boy out cause they were all at the register talking stories and stuff, still not bothered. When I finally flagged down a worker and asked her for the shoe I wanted it came out decent timed, however when I got the shoe it was all dinged up so I asked for a newer pair from the back, but unfortunately that was the only last pair which I'm not sure if I believe that but I was triggered. read more

Vans are my favorite shoes. I skate in them, ride bikes in them and wear them when relaxing. They have been my favorite since I was a kid. Now my Daughter loves them too. The Vans outlet store is great. I'm not just saying that either. I'm a local and remember when it was on the other side of the outlet mall. I always start my shopping trips at the outlet mall at Vans Outlet and end my trip at Vans. Clothes, hats, skateboards and of course the shoes. Went with a friend who was looking for shoes and couldn't help but feel so damn pestered the entire time. I've worked in retail and I realize it's your job to let people know about sales, but Jesus, you don't have to tell us every 2 minutes. Your store isn't even that big and an employee who told us about the sales when we first walked in told us again not even 10 minutes later his same spiel. If you shop here, just be ready to be approached over and over and over. Just let customers be! If they need help, they'll approach you! read more

Went to EXCHANGE a pair of shoes today and was told they couldn't do that without a box?!?! Have never experienced that policy before! I told the cashier I'd give her the box from the new shoes, but the 21-year-old flunkie "manager" said no. Now I'm stuck with a pair of shoes that won't fit my daughter. Disgusted by the way my family and I were treated at the VANS store! I get the fact that you need to take precautions of people stealing but telling us to take off our godamn shoes before going into the fitting rooms like criminals and telling us that no one can wait outside the fitting even tough we just wanted to give eachother opinions on the stuff we were trying on.
