She provided my daughter with a few examples to ride on in the store to get a feel for them. Within a few minutes, she knew which one she wanted and we were ready to cash out. Lots of other supplies here too. Build your own board. Clothing. Shoes. Etc. Easy access from the parking lot, which was nice becuase it was raining hard.

If you're looking for Clemson or South Carolina merchandise, or Charleston themed gifts to take home, Palmetto Moon is the place to go. They also stock merchandise for The Citadel and College of Charleston, so if you're into those schools or teams, you can buy it here without having to go downtown or onto the campus of those universities. The prices are less expensive than gift shops downtown, with the convenience of parking and being near so many other stores at Tanger. If you're a tourist, Tanger is probably on your way out of town and therefore, the perfect place to shop before leaving Charleston so you won't have to lug those bags around downtown. I understand why Palmetto Moon moved to Tanger, and they will get much more foot traffic here, but the store seems to have less space in between the aisles and tables. Also, this Palmetto Moon stocks more clothes and t-shirts, but fewer accesories, gifts, and shoes than other locations. I'm not sure if this is a permanent change or temporary for this location or time of year, but I'd love to see more tailgating gear, hats, and home products again.

Francesca's carries everything from hair accessories to shoes, as well as lots of offbeat gifts perfect for white elephant exchanges or friends' birthdays. I don't really shop the clothing items, but I've found a few cute hair accessories and jewelry to complete outfits here. Everything seems well constructed and not "fast fashion" like some accessory stores. A lot of stores in Charleston cater to the Charleston chic/girly look, but Francesca's has clothes and accessories that work for all occasions, individual styles, and ages- from high school girls up to moms.

This location has great deals as all outlet stores normally do. I had found a pair of shoes here that were so comfy that I was able to buy them multiple times. I've never been here when it's very crowded so service is always attentive but not over bearing. I'm trying on shoes off the rack so I don't need a lot of interacting with!

Little did I know that Herberts is now in the back of the same building. This was the perfect setup! I started my machine, walked over for a coffee and a snack, went back to start the dryer, and then came back to peruse the merchandise. Everything from the coffee, to the staff, and selection of vintage were all top notch. I regret not picking up that South of the Border hat I saw, but I'll be back soon to do another deep dive.
