Isaac was very nice and helpful. He helped my mom find similar shoes as the ones she picked were 80 something and the cashier said the buy one get one half price was only for $60 and under. I honest was very upset at her says name is Alex. I took pictures of all the signs that were up and funny thing none say what she was saying so I was extremely disappointed because she basically said it like I was an idiot for not noticing on the signs. Well here you go! I posted the picture and none of it says it. Also when I walked it all the employees were just hanging out in the front I didn't hear a welcome in or is there anything we can help with! I was looking for matching his and hers Vans for our upcoming vacation (corny, I know). I was working in the area and decided to pop in for a look see. Clothing, accessories and the register are towards the front of the store. The middle of the store has aisles of men's shoes. And towards the back of the store, there are more men's shoes are on the left and women's on the right. All the styles of shoes are displayed with all the sizes in boxes for easy shopping. The sale section is organized by size. When I dropped in, the promotion was buy any pair and get a sale pair for 50% off. Luckily for me, my BF wanted the Classic Authentics in pewter (gray) and I found a pair in the sale section for me. Since my pair was 50% off, I ended up paying $65 for both. Score! There was a sales associate Jeffrey who was a super super sweet kid. His voice was kind and he didn't look overwhelmed when I asked for help, even though he was already helping 3 other customers. Here's the reason why I had to dock 2 stars. No one greeted me when I walked in. Not a big deal because I noticed everyone was busy helping customers through out the store. However, it was annoying when I did need help finding a size and had to search the store for someone. I wear a 5.5 and I did have to walk around all the aisles to get to the sale section. And by the time I was there, 4 big a$$ women were in my way. The aisle was so cramped and I couldn't see anything, but they eventually moved and I found a shoe I liked. I like Vans but i have frustrations with this store and the fact that their sizing is not always true. My primary advice to these guys would be, if someone bought shoes for a gift and then found out the size listed on the shoes was incorrect due to a factory error, don't make them wait in your whole line twice to fix the problem. It's annoying enough that I had to come back at all but to them have to wait in the line to let them know the issue and then to have to wait again after I went and found another pair of shoes that did have the right size on them really pissed me off. read more

This place is packed!! They stuff so many people into this decent sized store, and trying to find help is difficult. It does not help that the average person shopping in here is a Vans walking billboard and looks like they work there. The shoe area is the most packed, and trying to try on a shoe I get knocked over by some tourist dude. Literally knocked me off the dang stool. The clothing area is not as crowded but it's narrow and navigating with stroller is not an easy task. Overall price was good for shoes for my wife and my 1 year old so I made a purchase but my experience was less than satisfactory. This store can be a little overwhelming. It is very busy all the time. The space between the shelves are very narrow so they can be difficult to navigate if you have a stroller or something similar. The shoes can be difficult to try on because they all have this very short security tag that make it impossible to try on two shoes at the same time. The staff is friendly and if you ask them nicely they can remove the tag to improve your experience. This is not the place if you are looking for personalized service. If you are looking for a deal you will have to do just that... and look. The selection of shoes for sale seems to be well picked over simply because of the traffic this shop sees. Keep pressing on and you will score your diamond in the rough. The floor staff will do their best to assist you with your purchase but quite frankly with a handful of people on the sales floor they cannot take care of every customer. If you find one, keep their attention long enough until you get the kicks on your feet. Overall this is a good store if you are visiting the Premium Outlets South, Most of the staff if willing to help you but you might need to have a little patience while shopping here. Take your time and remember sales staff are people to do not have high expectations for amazing service. read more

I have been a fan of Vans shoes for a long time and I was very disappointed with the selection. the staff was nice and all but they have basically NO selection of wide-fit shoes and they even said "yeah we get a lot of complaints that we don't carry wide shoes" so now I have basically given up on getting vans because even if you go one size up its STILL too narrow! nobody has feet that slim? I was very unhappy with there workers. I had asked to put shoes on hold right before they closed and when we the asked the worker even seemed confused by my request but she ended up understanding and agreeing to put them on hold. I had come back the next day and they had put all my shoes back and the one pair I had really wanted to buy were gone. I had asked to speak to the manager and she was as confused as the workers and said " We aren't allowed to hold items over night for this reason" Not very organized and the workers didn't know anything more than her. I ordered 3 pairs shoes online and 1 pair came back as a totally different size / style I am not one to leave negative reviews, but I called this store in advance and asked if I could do returns from online there. I was told yes. I brought my receipt & the shoes in the store. The associate went to the back and asked her store manager if she could do the return. He said no without even coming out to talk to me or understand the reason for the return. His name is Johnathan. I think he should have some customer service training. The manager Chris said there's nothing wrong giving me horrible attitude. So I asked if he can clean it at the least and took the shoes out of my hand and tossed it on the table. Imagine how'd you feel buying a fresh new white pair of shoes and being tossed on the counter. I was gonna have a word with him or just walk out but I stayed. I go to this store pretty frequently as it is conveniently located near my apartment. I normally go in not needing any help, and the staff is usually friendly and overall pleasant. On this occasion, not so much. My girlfriend and I overheard one particular employee, Courtney I believe, mocking myself, my gf, and her mother. This was after two of us had asked for assistance, to which she miserably complied to. I get retail is not the most pleasant job, I have experience in the matter. But I also don't walk into a store expecting to be mocked for asking if they had shoe in my size. She happened to be the one that rang me up at the register. If I were the manager of this store I would seriously check the attitude of Courtney. Customer service is clearly not her forte. When I did find one she didn't seem very helpful at all. I had to ask someone else to help us who was a little more willing to work. Both girls were very young and had very little interest in working. Marcos the" acting manager" likes to take advantage of the elderly by not giving receipts to the elderly when they're buying their grandkids a gift when those shoes do not fit they refuse to return them if the prices dropped without a receipt. So now my daughter is wearing shoes for less value than the one her granddad purchased for 79.95 she could only get shoes worth 49.95!! extremely disappointed in vans... But my kids everything from there this will be my last visit ever and I will never recommend that store or any other vans store to any of my friends or family especially if you're over the age of 50. I have worked in retail since I was old enough to work and I know how important shopping experiences are. This was the worst retail experience I have ever had as a consumer. I was trying to buy 2 simple items that were supposed to be buy one, get one 50% off and the cashier had no idea how to apply the discount. She then passed me to another cashier to fix it and it was still incorrect. After 15 minutes at the register for a simple sale, I was so frustrated and annoyed at such incompetence that I just wanted my money back and refused to buy anything. The manager was rude to me and ignored me while doing the refund instead of apologizing and trying to end it on a good note. They wanted my drivers license to do a simple refund, which I did not understand. I walked out the door 30 minutes later thoroughly pissed. I will never spend my money here. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!! I purchased a $60 gift card for my daughter on 4-24-2018 for her 13th bday. Sent the gift card along with the receipt to California and 3 days later she uses it and it says there's no money on the gift card?!?! How convenient! Here's where you messed up ladies and I know who you are!!! You used the gift card when it was in the mail impossible for someone to use it! The employees who put money on the gift card somehow make doubles and give you one with no money and use them! Well now I contacted corporate and we caught you red handed! Been shopping here for a long time and I always usually had great service but its been slipping the past few years esp after the remodel. Today I walked in, it's dead and didn't get greeted but the family who came in after me did. I walked around for a bit looking at shoes and made eye contact with a few associates and only got look aways and awkward looks making me feel unwelcome. Amazing customer service! I rarely say this because I work in retail, but I have to give it up to this team. I came in for my boyfriend's bday present. He wanted a custom board and let's be honest I had no clue where to go from there. I went into Vans and was greeted right away. I got to the skateboard area and immediately felt overwhelmed. But thank god for Chris! He put together a sick board with custom grip tape and everything. My bf was so stoked!! The rest of the team was so nice throughout my visit as well. I will definitely continue shopping here! Also, I was super bummed after reading all these horrible reviews below. This store can indeed be overwhelming. A little employee help would have been helpful but no such luck the first 10 minutes I browsed about lost in the plethora of shoes and boxes. When I first walked in I made eye contact with the girl behind the counter, I smiled and she stared, I felt really odd about it, even more so when she greeted the next guy who came in after me. So I went on with my business and of course was hesitant to ask for assistance even though I needed. I made a specific trip to this store because I was on a mission for 2 shoe pairs I had seen in another location but they did not have the size I needed. Had I found them it would have been an easy two sales for them and likely a third because they had a promotion I saw on a banner, sadly no one made mention to me about. I finally interrupted an employee who was arbitrarily touching boxes to look like he was doing anything important to ask for help finding the style and size. Instead of taking me to look he said "he things they over in that area" as he pointed. I was unimpressed with that answer so I asked him to please show me where because that was pretty vague. He began to take me over and midway was interrupted by another customer who seemed perturbed by the lack of helpfulness anyone else gave and asked him for a shoe size. At that the employee again pointed at a vague direction and said they might be on this side of the racks or the other side and proceeded to help the more irate customer. At that I threw up my hands and left. The location left such a fowl impression that I cared enough to bookmark, collect my thoughts and come back to yelp to leave the review they certainly earned. I went to this location to get one of the shoes they said hey had in my size on the shelves. I went and tried to find them to see that they're not there it was about ten minutes before I called mad got to the store to see that they weren't there. I asked one if the workers and he did yes I should have them in the back he came out and said oh sorry we've actually been out and was having a little bit of an attitude. So I called another location and they said they didn't have it either and the only location was Down Town Summerlin and the lady said that hey had 5 left in the black slip on classic so I went and it took me about 20 minutes of my time and had to get there. When I finally got to DTS they said they didn't have any in that size and they had a size bigger. So I said can I have those to try on. They went and looked for them and said they couldn't find them and just said that and stood there and didn't say anything they didn't even call the other location to ask or anything they were very rude and now I have to go driving around town farther waiting my gas and still paying full price for my vans that not one but three locations after I called another one didn't have in my size they should really out attention to when they are out and should restock and be nicer to their costumers! No body ever really apologized nor try to help and call to order them online even if ordering online was an option to me it's wasn't an asked option!!!
