Well, out on a weekend visit in Vegas we decided that we needed new boots and jeans. If you haven't been to this location, you know it can be a little overwhelming at the boot selection. My husband went One Direction while I went the other we were both amused when we basically chose the same boot in male and female styles. All the staff was absolutely incredible answering questions directing us to different styles of boots that we might like among the clothes. I unfortunately can't remember the name of the female that assisted us. She was absolutely amazing going out of her way to make sure that we tried on different boots in the style that we wanted. After selecting our boots, a belt and buckle for my husband a few pairs of jeans we went onto shop for our granddaughter. We ended up leaving with wardrobe for her and pair of boots. They have both the "Work Boot Barn" and the regular Boot Barn here. The regular brand carries fashionable boots and serves the cowboy, ranch person, rodeo person, also the avid outdoorsman, thrill seeker, hunters, and fishermens.. Also available at both locations - Western wear, fashion, outdoor gear, etc. Service - Both locations have an amazing service program. We were greeted often, from almost all the employees. I've been a loyal shopper at Boot Barn for a long time and literally never had a single issue until today March 27th around 2:18 PM. I want to start by saying the girl who actually helped me at the register was super nice and honestly most of the other employees were fine too but two specific girls working there completely ruined the entire experience for me. They both looked like they were in their early 20s one was wearing a white shirt with blonde hair and the other girl was dressed super cute actually with a white tejana so it's such a shame she ended up being not so nice. I was literally in the middle of a $200+ transaction at the register when my mom and my cousin were walking toward the exit. The machine beeped so the girls asked them to walk through it again to see if it would happen a second time. They walked through again and it didn't beep at all so it was clearly just an error. The girls even said "oh okay you guys are fine" but then as soon as my family started walking away they immediately started laughing and cracking jokes making fun of them. Instead of being professional they were over there whispering loud enough for me to hear and laughing making comments like "oh I should report them" and "omg how did that get there?" basically implying that my family stole something and was going to "play dumb" when they got home and found it. If they weren't actually going to search the bags or look at the cameras to make sure nothing was stolen then the jokes and the laughing shouldn't have even happened to begin with especially after the machine didn't even go off the second time. It is honestly so disrespectful to be harassing someone's family right in front of them while they are literally in the process of handing your store money. I'm not going to spend my hard earned money at a place where staff members think it's okay to treat loyal customers like that. It's a total shame because the rest of the team was great but those two made the whole situation feel super unprofessional. read more

The family wanted to look at some Cowboy Boots the other day , so we came here and another place . This place has a much better selection of boots , shirts , hats , and other items . I remember years ago there were more cowboy stores like Sheplers in town to go shop at . Of course that was when we had more dance halls too like Dylan's on Boulder Hwy , Cheyenne Salon on Craig Rd. , and Sam's Town and Gold Coast also had dance floors . That was a long time ago like the 90's . Of course we still have places like Gilley's , Stoney's , and Saddle N Spur . You can get stuff anywhere from the flashy expensive stuff to the more practical and lower priced . They sell all kinds of accessories too like jewelry , belts , etc . They have another building closer to the street that sells all their work boots , apparel , and accessories . I found the employees to be friendly and helpful . They also have a place to steam and shape your cowboy hat to your liking or if you have one that has some warping issues . read more

I really like the fact that Boot Barn has its own work wear store separate from the other building which has all the western wear. I look more for the work wear items anyway when I go into Boot Barn so this was perfect for me. I've driven by this place countless times as it's diagonally across from the Bellz Premium Outlets. (Long time Vegas visitors and locals will know what Bellz is). We finally went to check it out and their selection of Carhartt was really good. I was looking for flannels and/or pocket work tees but they didnt have anything that stood out to me. Employees greeted us when we walked in and asked us if we needed help a few times. We ended up not buying anything at this time but I certainly plan on going back on subsequent trips just to see what new items they may be carrying then. The only aspect of this store that resembles "Western" is the line by the cash registers that resemble stockyards. Otherwise, you can't just put a hat on Grandma and call yourself cowboy. This store is in sharp contrast to the Summerlin store. Where the former is laid back and mellow, the latter is hectic and frenzied. It's bellybutton to butthole with tourists. And you can't even ask a question without standing in their goat-rope line. The answer to everything is..."Stand in line." But I only have a question..."Stand in line." Where's the..."Stand in line." And after you've gone through the maze of lines, they can't answer half the questions anyway. I did look around and felt as if the was the factory-seconds store. Most of the items seemed to all have small flaws in workmanship that made me feel as if this was were they dumped and flushed the not-so-good merchandise off on the tourists. So I'm giving this store and the Western store a one star. I had the weirdest experience going into the work store. I was ignored by all of the sales associates. I believe I was ignored because I was a female looking around shopping because there was a men that had just walked in and the sales people went right past me to ask if they needed help, not me. I mean I'm looking for some work boots because I WORK. Same thing sort of happened when I went into the Western store just to look around and sales people were just looking at me like I was an alien. Are used to shop at a boot barn in Los Angeles and I'm known to buy three pairs of western boots at a time at $350- a pair. Western clothing retail is dead in my own city. Its hard to find a good spot to go and buy a western shirt or some real boots. So when I travel I am always looking for a good western wear provider. This place ranks up there with some of the best. Isles of boots, you bet, racks of shirts and shelves of jeans, absolutely. On my way to or from the airport, just a sweet bonus. We're leaving the airport in our rental car, and we're about to turn right on Las Vegas Blvd. And my friend gets really excited at the sight of "Boot Barn." I smile, agree that we'll stop by if we have time on Sunday before our flight... And then Sunday comes, and we do have time, and we end up there, and I'm totally impressed. I suddenly feel like I NEED a cowboy hat more than anything. (I'm not exactly someone who has any reason to own one- trust me.) I also want cowboy boots. And a big belt buckle. Something about the store really makes me want to buy everything. And the guy working there was SO helpful. He told us about various hats, and how to take care of them, and when my friend picked one out he said, "That there is a beer drinkin' hat." She was pleased. My other friend mentioned that her father's hat size was a certain size, and said attendant asked if her father was Stewie Griffin, or was featured in the Macy's Parade, because that was an unreal head size. They do have a large selection of boots and this where my cowboy friend bought his boots a few years ago. We had heard that there was a January clearance sale going on but when we went inside we didn't really find anything on sale. We only ended up getting one T-shirt that cost around $25.00. Nothing is cheap in here so be prepared to shell out big bucks for your country wares! I actually prefer the stores in Norco and Torrance (California) than this one. read more
