They do have a large selection of boots and this where my cowboy friend bought his boots a few years ago. We had heard that there was a January clearance sale going on but when we went inside we didn't really find anything on sale. We only ended up getting one T-shirt that cost around $25.00. Yeehaw. I needed me some boots (or so I thought). I went to Boot Barn with the intention of seeing if they had a certain pair of boots I had seen online and they did - plus so much more! The amount of boots and styles they have here (particularly the ladies section) is stellar! I had been looking online at boots and thinking I may wear a pair under my wedding dress. I thought maybe I could pull of a little country flair, after all... in reality, no one would actually see the boots unless I purposefully showed them! Well I went here with the intention of just looking and I fell in shopping love with a pair of boots. They are all easily marked and you can try them on by just pulling them off the shelves. I ended up buying a pair of really lovely boots. However, I had second, third, fourth thoughts about them the next day. Being the fickle bride-to-be I am, I actually ended up returning the boots. Throughout the whole process the staff was very nice and understanding of why I was returning the boots. The return on my card has already been processed! I have an 8X blank hat with an open crown I bought and took it there to get shaped. I tried several places in town and they won't do complete shaping including crowns and others require you buy their hat there (try $600). I met "Jill" she was friendly and introduced herself. She complimented me on the hat then asked how I wanted it shaped...we discussed it and decided on a Cavalry crease with a modified brim. This girl is remarkable with hats, and takes her time making sure the details are perfect. I tried it on a few times during the process and she'd say...not quite there. The finished hat was perfect. As I was leaving I mentioned that I had a 30 year old Stetson that got bent laying in the sun about 15 years ago but another hatter told me it was cracked and couldn't be fixed. She asked me to bring it by and she'd look at it. I had it in the double hat case I brought the other one in, so she looked at it. She said this isn't cracked...give me a minute. She sprayed some stuff on it, steamed...roll, rub, rub...15 minutes later this hat looked like new! I asked what I owed her she said nothing but some beer money for yours truly! If you don't know...this is an art that few people have perfected and takes years to learn. I took good care of her as she restored my favorite hat to what it once looked like and I thought it never would again. As for the store...they have EVERYTHING you could ever want that's western and the prices are reasonable and service is good (great if you see Jill for your hat!). P.S. I'll be back! read more

Definitely happy with my purchase here. There are no boot barns in the San Francisco Bay Area, so as soon as I saw this location, I literally jumped out of my "boots." Store is well staffed, all who were friendly and willing to help. HUGE selection of women's/men's boots with a wide price range to fit your budget. I picked up a CUTE pair of deep red/brown boots, and they're comfortable too! $190.00 not bad right? My first official pair of cowboy boots. I also found a cute straw hat that completes my look. ($30.00) An Asian girl decked out in cowboy gear - what's up! (Kenny Chesney, I'm waiting for you!) The husband didn't buy anything, but he spent a long time checking out $$$ cowboy hats. I would give zero stars if I could. I always buy all of my work clothes, and boots here. The last two times I purchased my carhartt pants the person at the register has left the electronic tag on at least one pair. I went in last week to get extra pants since I was going to be working out of state. When I walked out of the store the alarm didn't sound. Well needless to say when I went to wear them the electronic tag was still attached. I went to the store today and as soon as I opened the door the alarm sounded, the girl at the front desk just giggled until I told her how this is inconvenient to loyal customers. She apologized but said mistakes happen and they can't do much about it. I guess I will be getting my work gear from Amazon or elsewhere from now on. read more

While this store is large I was driven out by the customer service. There was one nice employee in the store and he was followed around by other employees because he was working out of his section. If they had helped me in the first place this poor guy would not have had to step up to do your jobs. (he worked in boots and I was looking for a belt) Eventually they were unable to help me and I went to the other store in Summerlin where I had not one but two people help me and got exactly what I wanted despite smaller selection. Before we walked into the store we were given a stare down by a female employee. We walked in to look for work boots and carthart jackets I said hello none of the employees said anything to us, the women just gave dirty looks the whole time. We felt unwelcomed and were treated like thieves. Don't go into the first building closest to Las Vegas blvd. the boot barn building behind it for casual wear we were greeted by a courteous young man but the ladies giggled the whole time. I actually went to the Boot Barn behind the work boot store. I couldn't find the new Boit Barn location on yelp. So I decided to leave my review here. I love the store. Friendly staff. I was assisted by Rosey. She went out of her way to make sure my boots fit me perfectly. Amazing selection of boots and anything else you can think of. I should preface this review by clarifying that I am about as country as Lady Bunny performing The Osmond's, "A Little Bit Country." That being said, you will find some awesomely cheap boots here. 50% of everything is on sale, and their inventory is massive. They carry slightly more men's boots than women's, and the staff are very helpful. They also carry some Western style clothing and accessories, which didn't interest me in the slightest. The cool thing about this store is that the majority of the patrons are looking to buy the tasteful camel colored cowboy boots, leaving the outrageous day glow pink and turquoise snakeskin boots that I want drastically discounted! They carry Tony Lama, Ariat, Frye, Ugg, and a bunch of other cowboy boot makers that I've never heard of. Overall, an excellent place to check out if you want a hot pair of cowboy boots. read more

This is a commission store. I understand that everyone has their departments. But when an associate is literally helping three people at once and it is obvious that she is frantic. Maybe she needs to admit she needs help and give a customer to another associate that way they can be helped and give them the service they deserve. I went to this place because i needed a new pair of boots. I walked in and was greeted by a woman asking me what i needed. She pointed me to the women's boots and told me Lynn was over there to help me. I went to where Lynn was and she was helping three people at once. That lady was crazy busy very hectic and I decided to try and find my own boots. As I was browsing I asked her if she had any other boot jewelry she said no that's it and walked off. I was slightly frustrated and walked to my father and told him I was ready to go they didn't have what I wanted. An associate named John, that was talking to my father, asked me what I wanted. I showed him a picture and he tried to help me he gave me socks and gave me a couple of choices. I asked him if there was anymore boot jewelry he said no but he could help me find more at another store. I declined but happy that he offered. He left and as he was walking when two ladies asked him for help and all of the sudden an associate said no John that's lynn ladies and she continued on telling a customer how he steals sales. (BTW the ladies was one of the 3 people she was helping). Lynn came back running to give a costumer their shoes and then literally ran back to the ladies John was helping. After I was done shopping the register lady asked who helped me I said John (because I did almost leave with nothing if it were not for him) Lynn was also at the register and she smerked at shook her head which I found rude. I still gave this place 4 stars because I was helped over and beyond. I just wish workers wouldn't bad mouth each other. And give a man some customers of your too busy. read more

come here 4 times a year, always purchase over $300 each time. Never can get assistance, seems the help has more important things to discuss with each other than help the customers. We mentioned this to the cashier, and she says they were busy with customers ( 5 sales clerks were behind the counter but only 1 working with customers). Then when my wife walks away after purchasing our items, the cashier made a snarky remark to her co-worker. This is one of the reasons retail stores are going out of business, nobody needs or wants bad customer service. read more

Probably the worst customer service in the history of time. I witnessed 2 female employees and 1 male manager. The 2 girls behind the counter welcomed us and then laid on the counter like she was sleeping while her and her manager talked about who knows what. We were looking to spend $200-$500 on boots for a wedding. I had to walk back and forth to the front counter to get answers about boots. We walked out without buying a pair of boots since we didn't want to bother the manager and employees pow wow. While we exited not even a good bye or thank you but the 2 female employees stared at us while the chatted. If you like to be ignored and annoyed while shopping this is the spot for you. What a waste of time...............we will buy some LUCCHESE online or from their competitors. read more

Very poor customer service. My son was in visiting from out of town and we wanted to take him here to get him a new pair of boots for Christmas. He needed a specific boot in a certain size that wasn't on the shelf so we asked one of the workers working the boot area if any of the other Boot Barns in town had that size in stock and he said we'd have to go up front and wait in line at the register and ask them and then he walked away from us. Mind you there were over 30 people in a super long line waiting to check out..... So you're telling me every time I find a boot I like and want to see if they have it in a certain size, I have to stand in line for 45 minutes to found out? Seriously, super crappy customer service! We called another boot barn in town and they told us that the boot we were looking at didn't even come in half sizes in the wide. So instead of finding that information out from a worker working the boot are at the Boot Barn we were actually at, we had to either wait in line for 45 or call another store ourselves. Nice. I don't know about the cowboy boots but almost everyone of the work boots are made in China. I have been wearing Justin work boots from here for 16 years but now they have hardly any Justins at all and it's the only boot they have that is made in the USA. I am not ready to buy China boots. read more

Mark helped me pick out a pair that fit my needs, the only reason I i didn't purchase from Boot Barn was the pricing. They were a little higher on most of the regular stock boots than Cowtown on Flamingo. With that being the only exception the store was great. read more

What can I say, when it comes to true country shops in town this is the bee's knee's. The shop itself is too small for the amount of merchandise and customers it sees on a daily basis, you definitely feel confined and overwhelmed. Rent must be cheap or they actually own that lot. If not is about time they upgraded to a bigger store. Maybe combine with the Working Man, store. The rewards program is great too.. spend about $300 and got a $60 reward that you have to use at the store and not online. The selection of boots and shirts are nice and you can go online for even larger selection. If you hate crowd then I recommend shopping here on a weekday. read more

Betty, the sales lady that helped me size my boots is a total boot goddess and helped me with some tips about stretching my boots to fit.
