I had heard about him from others and I think I had interacted with him previously, but I don't know for certain. Anyway, I told Tom what I was looking for, how I played and my age. Given my age and stated afflictions, he made a decision. Unfortunately, it was not a good decision. For my age, I am healthy and rather mobile. We went through a number of heads and shafts and he decided that these were the best for me. So I ordered them and they arrived and they didn't work at all for me. So I went back and explained and Tom says no problem let's try these instead. What he showed me were clubs that he plays with. And he let me play with his personal clubs, several times. I discovered that I like what his clubs hit like but needed a bit more stability. I played with steel shafts and graphite was always to light and iffy with me. So I reordered clubs (apex150 vs apex 300, the original clubs) and when they came with steel shafts, it was like the heavens opened up. Today, I got my first hole in one with a 7 iron, 145 yards over a bunker at the third hole at Silverbell. I have been playing with these clubs for about 4 weeks. Tom highly recommended the Callaway Opus SP wedges. He suggested a configuration that seemed difficult to get. So I went for 2 other Opus Sp wedges (52 and 58 S Grind) and they performed amazingly. I am 72 years old and play to about a 10 handicap. Since I am not competitive and hate watching people spend 5 minutes over their shot and only then to shank it, I play what ever holes are available. I would highly recommend Van's to people as they (Van's) are not always perfect, but they will always make it right for you. I have dealt with Tom, Carson and Gary and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

You can check out most of his inventory online. You can even get hard to get discs from him and he doesn't price gouge. Check out my videos to get a feel for what he carries. Lots of discs, including macro discs for the kiddos, markers, mini discs. Plenty of accessories, including Golden Retrievers, caps, shoulder straps, etc. etc. etc. Biggest inventory of bags of different manufacturers anywhere in Tucson. Manufacturer list: Innova, Discraft, Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64, Westside Discs, disc mania, Axiom Discs, MVP Disc Sports, Gateway, Legacy, Prodigy, Streamline Discs. He doesn't carry it? He'll custom order it for you. Trevor is a great guy, semi-retired, retired from disc golf for the time being due to injuries, has been the Tournament Director for several events in Tucson. He knows his discs and can tell you about them and give recommendations. The store is in his garage in a neighborhood. Don't let that fool you. It is only 8 minutes from Groves Park Disc Golf Course. He is basically open everyday with normal hours, but it is best to text him before coming. He will also take your orders over the phone as well as from his online store, of course. When you go to his store, his super friendly doggies, Cleo and Shotsey [sp?] will greet you. Just walk in and they will follow you. Just a warning, though: When they warm up to you and if you are wearing shorts, they will lick your shins and it tickles! LOL Worth the drive! (And he's a 30 minute drive for me.) 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind.
