After 1 week of having the clubs, he did not like them so he went to return them for another set. The manager told him that if he can't hit with those clubs, then he" might as well quit golf and take up tennis instead" and gave him a hard time about returning the clubs despite the 90 day return policy. Rude. That was 6 years ago and we hadn't been back since. Fast forward to now. My dad spent $1750 on brand new Rocket Ball golf clubs. The set was supposed to include an adjustment wrench for the driver, but when he got home it wasn't there. So, he went back to the store to ask for it since it was supposed to be included. One of the employees was incredibly rude saying that my dad was just trying to con them out of money. He said paperwork would have to be filled out and that he would have to do a complete inventory of the store to see if there was possibly 1 extra wrench that "might have been his". He gave my dad a really hard time about it. The wrench is $40 on its own and my dad just spent $1750 on a set that was supposed to include it, but apparently this idiot employee thought my dad was trying to scam him. Anyways, my dad sees the guy who sold him the clubs and tells him the story and that saleman runs to the back, grabs a wrench, and apologizes for the hassle. The other employee was left stunned, still trying to fill out paperwork. While this store does have at least 1 good employee, the other employees are a bunch of idiots. Don't waste your time here.

I know next to nothing about golf, but wanted to buy my dad new clubs--he's an average player with…read morenot a lot of knowledge about what kind of club would work best for his swing. Oscar took the time to watch my dad hit a couple balls then spent the next hour with him going through the different clubs he thought might work best. We didn't purchase that day, but not once did he make us feel like we were wasting his time. That level of product knowledge and exceptional customer service is a rare find these days... I called the PGA TOUR Superstore/Tucson after the round and asked what the return policy was. I was told that since I had worn them, that I was out of luck, which didn't necessarily surprise me. I commented to the PGA employee that it was unfortunate that I was stuck with a $120 pair shoes, which were now of no value to me, and she laughed for a prolonged period of time. I was not at all amused with that, so I started to politely ask her what she thought was so funny, and she hung up on me. (In all fairness, I'm not sure she heard me asking that question, but she failed to even say goodbye.) You won't miss my business PGA TOUR Superstore. That was the first and will be the last time I step inside your store.

Not only was it cheaper at Big 5 but they were helpful and I was happy to support a local in-person business rather than Amazon or another online retailer. I think I got a better quality item at Big 5 for approximately 60% of what it cost through Amazon so I was very pleased! Not only did they have sporting goods stuff but also shoes, slippers, clothing, pool toys, and even some little plushie toys. I've become too accustomed to ordering stuff online but this was a nice reminder of the importance and convenience of having local brick & mortar stores too!

The ends were not a standard 2 inch. So I came back yesterday to find a solution. He asked me to trade in the Bar in question , gave me a 60 pct credit on original purchase price , I bought another used curl bar with a military Discount with the stops included. So a better bar , complete for Less net $$ than new collars on EBay. And I could make sure it all fit. He said he would deal with the other bar and figure out a way to make it right later on. For me, this was great service I Highly recommend coming here for used and new discounted sports equipment.

I let him know what I was looking for and he took the time to show me and explain what they had in inventory. I was grateful that a store representative actually asked if I needed help instead of trying to hunt someone down to help me. I moved onto other areas of the store trying to find a head visor. I must have looked like I needed help as another store associate, Luis, asked if he could assist me with finding something. He guided me to the golf area and located some visors, but also brought in that department's associate, Jane, to see if there might be more in stock elsewhere. The reason I am being so detailed about my experience at Dick's today is that I can't remember being helped like this in a store, well I guess, in quite a long time. I appreciate what Dick's is instilling in their employees. That customer service does matter. I appreciate how well I was treated today and will remain a loyal customer. I love checking out the clothes at Dicks Sporting goods. This place reminds me of a big five…read moresporting goods. I spent a long time looking at the workout clothes because that's what interests me a great deal. My husband decided to buy HOKA Bondi 9 shoes for work. Sadly, they didn't really work out for him and I came today to return them. The customer service is so friendly and fast. And when we bought stuff a few days ago we had to we were helped quickly. I was in the store about 30 minutes this morning and nobody came up to ask me if I needed any help or if I had any questions. Been interested in getting some pants for my husband, but I just didn't see what I wanted on the display. The store was clean and I'd be willing to go back again. They have disc golf supplies and discs and that's pretty cool.

I paid for six lessons that expired after 6 months. When I wasn't able to attend a lesson I always communicated that I couldn't attend they were very accommodating. But I had some unfortunate family events that made my attendance not possible. ( I live an hour away) . On top of all that my air conditioner quit the night befor lesson . So I alerted the Tucson store and they made feel like they were doing me a favor to extend my lessons beyond 6 months , even though I already paid for the lessons.

In one month, my amazing instructor, Cody Rathbun, has completely transformed my swing and my game. I am actually having fun playing golf now.
