The owners are amazing! Due to Covid-19 there are no dogs in the store for sale, but Michael helped us find a Morkie for our family. When the the puppy arrived he had a cough so they treated him for a week (even after it seemed to resolve just to be on the safe side) before they even took him to get the bill of health. In the meantime they allowed us to come into the shop and visit him for hours everyday which really made the transition to our house so much easier! Our Morkie has seen our family vet twice now since we took him home and is perfect in every way! I really appreciated the care they took with our little Murphy, and that they answered our many questions and allowed us to visit so often! Be careful, bought a pup. Asking price was `1200, paid 800. a year later the pup developed cattaracts in both eyes, vet says it was from the mother i.e. genetic. So I have a blind dog for $800. Just beware of what they are using as breeding stock. This dogs mother is the female poodle in the shop, Our dog has her same blocky frame. Dog was not worth price, but we love her just the same. Vet says operation would cost $4000, no guarantees that the operation would work, oh well. Just check on the breeding stock, don't buy an expensive medical bill. read more

Had a really awesome experience. Went it to the story and was pretty worried. The store owners didn't seem to be paying to much attention to the customers and I didn't really see the breed that I was looking for. This all changed once I finally told them I had a question. I told them I didn't see any miniature schnauzers and that worried me because not only was that the breed I was looking for, but I had also seen them on their website and so I drove 45 minutes out of my way to come to that store thinking they would have them. She instantly went into the back and brought out two adorable little boys that were for sale. I instantly fell in love with one. They were very nice about letting my girlfriend and I letting us play with the little guy for as long as I wanted. The rest of the transaction was super simple and they were awesome to work with. We just bought our beautiful little Yorky a couple of weeks ago and the care that he was given while at Vanity Pups was top notch! The first thing that I noticed when we walked into the store was there was no puppy smells or offensive odors.Everything looked clean and smelled clean! Kaelin had all his papers in order, and had received almost all his shots. The owner, Shirley, went through all the papers with us in detail and wanted to be sure that we were completely satisfied! I have been living in Fleming Island for approx. 10 months now and have taken my Yorkshire terrier to at least 3 different groomers. They just weren't a fit for a toy breed dog. I waited a long time to write my review because I was waiting to see if things would get better but they didn't. We bought our pup first week of June and brought him home a week later. He was given a "clear bill" of health from the vet that Vanity Pups uses. I took him the next day to my vet for a full exam. Come to find out the pup had a parasite. He was on medication, special diet for about 6 weeks. Vanity credited us back the money we spent on the extra medical bills. At this point I would have given them a high rating. My disappointment is that we are more than 2 months in and are still waiting for the litter registration papers. Michael would respond back via my text that either the breeder sent it and he's not sure why they didn't get it and that they were sending it again. This has been going on way too long. I feel as though we are getting the "run around" and now he's not responding to my text message. I've emailed the store directly and nothing. This raises some "red flags". Where did they actually get my little guy from? Makes you think. read more

We recently got an adorable, healthy Shih Tzu puppy. The staff is friendly for the most part. It is great that they cover all costs related to booster shots, and any meds that might be needed for worms and kennel cough, but they lock you into a particular vet to do that. Don't get me wrong, the vet is great, but we have a different vet for our cat and now we have to choose which one to go with. Also, they try to sell you this fancy, expensive food, that my dog hated. The only other complaint is that there prices are a little high. Overall it was a good experience and for all those haters out there, the puppies come AKC registered with a family tree and overall are healthy and happy. read more
