I went to several groomers before I settled at this one. I took my yorkie to see how much it would cost and she told me 40-45. I called to verify the cost and was told that it would be 40.00 and that would be put on my record when I came in. I verified it again when I checked in. When I came to pick him up the price had changed from 40 to 45. I told the receptionist that I verified the price when I came in, but she disagreed. I gave her the additional 5.00 and told her I wanted to speak with the owner. She looked at me and said the receptionist told her that I could not afford to pay. I told her I never said I could not afford to pay. I guess that is the assumption that they made. In addition to that insult this also happened:
I also brought a picture of how I wanted my dog cut. I talked to Trish and told her I wanted him to look like a teddy bear and she said, she understood. I told her to leave his face as is and wanted his legs fluffy. Trish butchered my dog. (please look at my profile picture). It did not look anything remotely like the picture. She did what she wanted to do. When I asked to speak to the owner, she came out and I told her that I would speak to her outside so as not to disturb her business in her place.
I told her my concerns and she was not the least bit interested in addressing them. Instead she was OK with how I was treated. Then Trish came outside, and I asked her why she was there and the owner did not ask her to leave. Instead they thought it was funny. She said I did the dog. I told her I asked for him to be fluffy like a teddy bear and she told me, "he's not a teddy bear, he is a dog." The owner (Connie) did not say anything to her. The thought it was funny that she butchered my dog's haircut and funny that she could not put it back. I told her that I was going to write a review and Trish started laughing and clapping and said, yes that's what you should do, write a review"
Any business owner would have tried to make it right. She just kept saying she could not put the hair back on the dog and smirking. It was clear to me that she did not help me because she did not want my business. I think I was treated this way because Connie is a racist. I have reported her to the better business bureau as well.
When she saw my review instead of calling me to fix this, she called and threatened me with a lawsuit if I did not take this down. Its OK for her and her employees to treat me with disregard, but when I call it out she want to threaten me. I hold with my opinion of her and its even stronger. read more
