If you are looking for a GREAT esthetician look no more. ELISA at Vanity on Main is AMAZING. She is very knowledgeable, experienced, professional, courteous and clean. I really appreciate her hygiene. I have seen way too many esthetician's double dip the wooden stick into the wax pot. Elisa has the utmost concern for her clients health and cleanliness and she does not double dip. That is a major plus. She waxes all parts of your body and knows exactly how to do it. She can sculpt your eyebrows like no other! She will scult them beautifully to fit YOU. She knows what she is doing. AND she does brazilian waxing too! Elisa does amazing facials that make you feel like a million bucks! You literally GLOW. More importantly, she gives you advice on how to take better care of your skin. She has tools to see things in your skin that you can't see in your own mirror. She can recommend products that will work with your skin. Her facials are the best I have ever gotten. There is nobody else like her. What amazes me the most about Elisa is her INTEGRITY. She would rather turn a client and their money down if they insist on doing something that Elisa believes is not appropriate for them. I've been going to Miranda for years and every time I leave the salon extremely satisfied with my new cut/color. She's upfront about how many sessions it'll take to achieve the new color I want, something I appreciate so I won't be surprised at the end result of the first session. She makes useful suggestions as to what will work with my natural hair color. I've received compliments from friends and family each time they see me with a new color and I always happily tell them it's Miranda who has the magic touch. I went to Vanity to get a sugar waxing by the infamous Tara and it was amazing! My friends and I had previously went to an undisclosed location and I had the Brazilian done there and the lady was very harsh and quick with her movements... needless to say it hurt... ALOT. I had a horrible reaction and I was disgusted with myself with how it turned out.... a little over a month later I wanted to try again but with Tara and I have to say it was the best decision I could have made for my Brazilian needs. She was gentle and very thorough she paid close attention to how sensitive my skin is. She asked for an update just to make sure that my skin didn't have the same reactions as before. Sensational experience at Vanity on Main! From a 1 to a 10 on the happy scale with my results, i would have to say 100000. I have fought with my body hair my whole life and i finally realized that i was done with my prickley legs. Elisa treated my skin and was warmhearted and professional and made me feel super comfortable. I've been to this salon 3 times and no one can ever get my hair how I want it, they swore up and down they can and always failed. Even the owner didn't do my hair how I wanted it which was a huge disappointment. These two ladies that work there are very lazy at doing hair. The three times that I've went they only did my roots where you can see, and not even underneath or the inner part of my hair. Such a bad experience here! I recommend NOT going here to get your hair done. Paid so much money here and in the end my hair looks like shit!! read more
