Wow. If only I could give more stars! Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to in a very long time. It's a shame I didn't take pictures.
The food was delicious. We opted for the a la carte menu. It's rare where I like everything in my meal, but here it was most certainly the case. Starter - scallops and oyster mushroom risotto. Both were great, but the scallops were particularly outstanding because of the black pudding. So different and delicious. Yum!
We ordered the sea bass and the turbot for mains. Again, both were delicious. The pear dessert was really good and a great-sized portion. I was really full after the bread, starter, main, amuse-bouche and the pre-dessert. The dessert was just the right size to be very tasty but not overwhelming.
Just as good as the food was the sommelier(I think that was his job). He saw that we were taking out time trying to pick our gin drinks. He asked what we liked and made us two amazing drinks. Then four more. It was like a great speakeasy cocktail experience with our fine dining. I'm so glad he offered to help us out. I loved it! read more
