After the first session, the eyebrows were uneven. This was a shock as the natural brows after a…read morebrow wax and tint looks much better. But we were told the the cheek bone and over all bone structure was uneven, so the brow drawing followed such. Later as the brow healed, there were patches that were lightening up, and when it healed for the most part and the color evened, you can really see the unevenness of the brows. It was pointed out by so many people. The only hope, and the excuse we told people, was that it wasn't finished yet, and there would be a second and final touch up. The directions post op were followed to the tee. The final touch up, which is mandatory at this point, was an extra $200 on top of the $500. So that's roughly $700 investment before taxes and fees. We were a little uneducated on pricing of microblading/ombré brows as we only based our patronage from the referral of a person who's eyebrows we saw. Since the visit here, I've travelled to LA and NYC, and asked around Chicago downtown, and saw that the $700 total is up to par to the high-end salons that service brows. Where you're given much more salon treatment during, while waiting etc. I've also seen the works in person of brow artists who have done it on asian oily/dry skin, light colored skin, etc. And there's no problem with patching. The eyebrows also were done very evenly and nice, as if it were drawn in naturally, regardless of bone shape (no one's facial structure is even after all). The other shops also told me that O wouldn't need to come back until 1-2 years, but this place said 8 months to come back and pay $350 for another session. Like what? I retract my first statement. And definitely you're able to find downtown salons with greater customer care that check up on you post procedure for this price. The shape also of the brow isn't that great.

I called back and voiced my concerns after both sessions and was told this can sometimes happen and was offered a free 3rd session with stronger pigment (not sure why this didn't happen after the first time) but I requested at least a partial refund instead. The first two times were painful, even with plenty of numbing cream, and I honestly had no reason to believe the 3rd time would work any better. I will say my Mom is enjoying her powder brows and they look great on her, but I can't recommend this place based on my experience. I would have hoped after dropping $750 + tip they would have worked with me more. I'm not requesting anything out-of-line when my lips looks pretty much the same.

I was pleased to feel relaxed and be able to trust her with my brows within a few minutes of consulting with her. She numbed my eyebrows and we talked and she micro-bladed my brows for $550 and I tipped her $100. She told me if I refer anyone she would give me a $100 kickback, which I thought was awesome because I had a friend who I'd send her way. Excited about the referral program, since I also offer referral programs within my salon and that is the best way to build your business. I loved my brows the first apt she did, but like she states on her site and in person they are NOT complete until the touch up appointment that she includes in her fee of $550. I was looking forward to the touch up, since she told me after the first appointment they may fade a lot. They faded almost completely, which is fine because I knew I'd be back for the touch up since she includes that in her prices. Fast forward to several messages and texts, a phone call to try and book my touch up appointment... I also made a comment on her professional page because it was getting ridiculous 3 weeks and no response. She was even posting on her Instagram and Facebook about booking new clients and her work but no response to me. I sent my co-worker to her to get her brows, which she mentioned to Nicolette that I referred her and asked again about the referral bonus- nothing. I was never was able to make a touch up appointment, never was able to get the referral bonus and or get a response. It was going on 5 weeks and thinking I totally got scammed- I was not going to just give up because a) I am in the beauty business and I know professional clientele etiquette, it is not appropriate over a month for response to book an appointment and 2) if you say you're going to give a referral kickback you better stand by your word. I was super sad and disappointed. Especially since it was my birthday gift from my husband and just felt totally let down. Needless to say, I contacted my bank and credit card to explain the story, prove the non-responsive texts and everything-basically say that I paid for TWO services at the time of booking- but received one and was scammed. Super bummed. Thankfully, I was refunded some money back and although I feel completely scammed by someone who seemed so kind and friendly (when she was getting paid by me) but then when the "free" Touchup was supposed to happen she disappeared.. She claims to be a professional, but not responding for weeks and being a woman of integrity and your word is not. I'm also bummed I never was able to get my brows finished and now paying double to get them completed by another artist. I have never in my life made a claim against someone through my bank or had paid for a service and been scammed like this. Hopefully she learns... I went to write a review on her Facebook page and noticed she removed all reviews off of her Facebook- go figure.
