I can't suggest using this company enough. I called to have someone look at my Dad's water heater…read morewhich had gone out while he was in the hospital recovering from a stroke. They were very timely and honest. They could easily have told us we needed new parts or a new heater etc. They took the time to inspect everything closely to make sure but all we needed was a simple wire fix. It was less than $150 and the heat was back on in time for my dad to get home to a warm shower! We're incredibly grateful and impressed. Highly recommend.

We recently utilized the services of Bornhoeft Heating & AC, and we're highly displeased with their…read morehandling of the situation. Their representative was unpleasant, not particularly knowledgeable and not inclined to listen to any input. Almost immediately after their services, our air conditioning unit crashed on a hot day when we were painting some rooms. We then reached out to the Crawford Company, who efficiently and properly made the necessary adjustments to restore our AC to working order. The representative from Crawford was actually stunned at the ineptitude of the representative from Bornhoeft. When we called the Bornhoeft Company to request a refund for services rendered, we were met with extreme hostile and rudeness. There is absolutely no reason we both shouldn't receive a refund for services not or improperly rendered, but also for the services rendered by the Crawford Company, which would have been unnecessary had Bornhoeft done the job they were paid to do in the first place

We waited for a bit to write this review as we were hoping they would make things right…read more Unfortunately we have had no response from them so wanted to share our experience. When we were given the quote it was for $145 an hour with no mention of any "additional fees". When the gentleman came to do the job he was a pleasure to work with and did a great job!! We have no complaints on that part. The problem came when the bill was received and it was hundreds more than what we had anticipated. When discussing with the owner this is what we were told. Plumber is $150 an hour not $145. There was an additional $45 and hour for a young man to pick up concrete and collect tools. We had to pay for drive time to and from the house. There was a jackhammer fee. And we had to pay for them to clean out the truck . Which consisted of half a barrel of concrete and about 10 feet of pipe. We feel that should have been shared when given the quote, not after the fact. I suggest you ask about these fees before confirming an appointment.
