20/10 The…read more'excellent' rating is not high enough. I have received medical services in many countries (first-world and developing) and this is on the very top of my list, above even the Red Cross Tropical Medicine Clinic in Bangkok where I had the privelige of consulting the doctor and the price was free (or close to). Both nurses at Passport were thorough and it was obvious that they *cared*. At least one was an RN. I was frankly apprehensive at first. While I had received an immediate and very helpful telephone call reply to my email questions to Passport Health, somehow I was suspicious about a US company without posted prices, and irritated that I had spent a long time filling out an online questionnaire in advance where some of my vaccination history did not 'take'. Also angry that the monopoly insurance coverage in my province doesn't cover many vaccinations. I was also a little confused by vaccination controversies (fake news?) I became totally relaxed meeting Zak and Wincey at the clinic. Why? 1. Answered all my questions: And I had plenty! 2. Explained everything: Zak and Wincey weren't just 'going through the motions'. You know that feeling that you are a number, of being processed? They weren't like that. 3. Documented everything: for the clinic and myself. 4. Not rushed: I didn't time it, but it must have been a 45 minute consultation. I have read horror stories of rude and incompetent technicians at some Washington state labs. And I have plenty of experience getting blood tests from the effective monopoly granted by the provincial government here (no competition, no motivation to do better). These two nurses couldn't have been further from that. They were even more patient and sympathetic than most of the nurses or doctors whom I have intereacted with at top private hospitals in Malaysia, Thailand and India. It compared favourably even to visits with my GP who is also not hurrying me along. Compared to consulting with several specialist physicians in BC however, this was night and day. Here the same persons welcomed me, interviewed me and did the simple procedure. They didn't sub it out to underlings and replacements like all three specialist MDs have done in my experience in rationed medical care 'take a number' British Columbia. And I left without the frustration of 'but I had more unanswered questions!'. I didn't feel like all they wanted to do was get onto the next 'case'. 5. Speed: when I had my followup Hep A shot at a gov't funded clinic in Vietnam it seemed to take forever to assemble and do the injection. Zak got it over with efficiently and knew how to distract me emotionally and physically at the key moments. He also prepared it *out of sight* but not hidden (in the next room over). Did it hurt? No injection is without sensation, but as shots go, this was a 'breeze'. Zak couldn't have done better for intramuscular location, depth and duration. He could probably vaccinate babies with no tears. 6. No pressure: I wanted to get my generous co-traveller's OK before getting the costliest shot. These two nurses didn't engage in even the slightest insinuation of 'well, you better...' 7. Superb customer service: Turned out one vaccination was oral and required taking an ice pack hone directly. My day's schedule did not allow and they offered to store it, also reminding me of when to pick it up before for proper protection on my trip. I didn't expect the value added reminder of visa details for my destinations (and in truth I knew better than they the reality). Is there a downside? Ah, yes. The price of vaccinations. The consultation at CAD 59 was a bargain, but Passport has no control over pharmaceutical companies' wholesale prices. If I can get future vaccinations overseas I might do so, but in fact European manufacturers control the prices and my 'Hep A' shot in Can Tho was similar price. I highly recommend Passport Health Clinic for vaccinations, especially for those with adequate money.

I appreciate the ease of communication and how knowledgeable Terry is. He's very honest and will give you all the information you need. Today, January 25,2022, I did the Scarlet RF. I was supposed to do this procedure last year but had to hold off because of personal reason. I've already did consult last year but Terry wanted to do another one to make sure all my concerns and questions are addressed. I used to go to a different skin clinic before. Unfortunately, the other clinic has gone too busy and too commercialized. The personal touch is gone in my opinion. One thing I like about The One Skin is how they make you feel they care about you. Terry is very kind and you can feel his sincerity. The whole procedure took almost 3 hours including post care. I'm not going to lie. The procedure is painful but tolerable. The numbing cream really helped. The package I bought includes 3 sessions of Scarlet RF, 3 post procedure care and 3 peeling treatments done 2 weeks after SRF. It's just my first session and I feel very good. I will update this review once I completed the 3 sessions. So far so good!

The consultation process was nice, they took their time when assessing my skin and asked me what my concerns and goals were which was great. You can tell that they have experience, and have a lot of skin knowledge. I did a hydrofacial to clear my congested skin, and a carbon laser peel after that (my first time for laser skincare). Because laser causes redness and damage to the skin, they provide a free "postcare treatment" where they cool down the skin with gels, serums, and a mister while you relax, that was a nice touch. I look amazing, my pores are smaller, my skin is really radiant and even, and there is this noticeable glow. Most importantly my visible acne and redness are reduced as well. I am really happy. I wanted to come back to do some Botox, so I spoke with the doctor while I was there. She was informative, gentle, and professional. I am excited to come back. - And they have everything here: They have laser, IPL, micro-needling, PRP, hair-removal, tattoo-removal, etc. This was so nice to find in Burnaby. I would highly recommend it, even if it means coming from Vancouver.

I went to Amy today for a mole removal service. She has a little room in the back of a hair salon,…read morethe atmosphere is very clean which is great. She had me lie down on a bed and gave me sort of a mini facial to clean my face first. Then she shone a big white light in my face (much like the ones at a dentist office) and dabbed my moles in what I assumed was antiseptic. I closed my eyes at this point since it's my first time and I am a little nervous. The whole process just felt like a little needle pricking you, it was a little painful but nothing significant. I think I was bleeding the entire time as she kept on wiping the spots after each time. The process is very fast, about 5 minutes for the whole pricking sensation. I am giving 3 stars for now because my moles look like little angry red dots at this moment, and I can't tell if the treatment worked. I will come back in 10 days (the number of days I'm supposed to wait for the wound to scab over and peel off by itself) and edit this post to tell you all about how it went! ==================== 8 days later: All my wounds scabbed over and peeled off by itself. One of them is completely gone while the two other ones are faint, but still there. I went back to Amy for a free touch-up on the two dots that are still there. She was great! Booked a same day appointment, same procedures (the facial + removal). I am editing my rating to 5 stars. :) For everyone who's wondering what the price is, it was $85 for 3 moles, not very large, just a dot, but very dark in colour. I think her price is decent. Sure you could get moles removed for $10/mole at beauty salons, but I'd prefer someone who's registered, after all, it's your face, right?
