I first tried this shop a few years ago when I was looking for new tires for our car. Costco had a…read moreseveral week wait and other tire shops were considerably more expensive than Costco. So I called Firestone and was able to get tires for almost exactly the same price as Costco. He ordered the tires in for us that day and mounted them in the afternoon. Since then I have used them for mechanical repairs and inspections on other vehicles including my company Duramax diesel 3/4 T pickups. They have a GM trained mechanic which is a great asset for me. One truck had been having battery issues for about 10 years. I had taken it to different shops who all told me it was just faulty batteries and would replace one or both of them. This had become an almost annual event. I tried but could not convince any of these shops that the problem was not the batteries but rather something else was killing them. Yesterday I took this truck to Firestone for another repair and asked them to troubleshoot my battery problem for me while it was there. The GM mechanic found the problem for me solving a decade old problem that other shops couldn't solve. Throughout all of my dealings with this shop they have never tried to upsell me. They instead have suggested more conservatively priced alternatives. All of their work from tire sales, repairs and installations, brake work, suspension and front end work to engine/mechanical work has been excellent. Over the years this Firestone shop has really earned the 5 star rating I've given them.

No pics, no road test, no report on the interior functions, motors compression wasn't reported, nor A/C checked. They told me it needed an oil change based on the windshield sticker, yet it had just been changed (probably didn't remove dip stick) All in all it was poor, lacked a lot of details and very unprofessional, I wouldn't trust them to rotate the tires!! I had to drive out to his cross streets and lead him here. All of that is no problem, i dont care about that at all. The problem is that he left my truck sticking 12 FEET out of my driveway and almost blocking my entire residential rd. He charged me 400.00 and in the process refused to put my truck in the driveway because he claimed the angle was too tight despite like 4 other tow trucks his size doing the exact same thing with ease. It was late at night and simply didnt give a crap and just wanted to go home. He obviously didnt care about stranding me in the middle of my street or he is an extremely incompetent driver. My tire was seized so it couldnt be pushed and he was my only option. I had to pay another tow truck 150.00 to just push it in the driveway because of him. I had neighbors honking at me all night and i couldnt sleep until 2am because i was stuck calling around for someone to help me since i couldnt be blocking the street in the morning. I would only recommend using this service if you are dropping off at a empty parking lot and if you dont mind being gouged. He also bent my trucks liftgate doing nearly 1k in damages. I was told the person would arrive in 45-60 mins but they came after 2 hours. There was no communication to let me know it will take that long and I put the things I had to go do on hold, waiting for them. Waste of my time tbh. The person finally arrived and they seemed to be pretty confused on what needed to be done. I asked if he could first check if he could repair the tire and do that if possible and he told me he didn't have the tools for that. He could only fix the tire from the outside, not completely - again, not communicated to me before. He ended up just putting the spare on. When bringing the car down from the jack he basically just slammed my car down rather than bringing it down slowly. Overall, communication 1/5 and service 2/5 Another thing for future customers to note. I had my car parked in underground parking and was told it'd be around $40 extra charge for that. I ended up moving my car on the street. The person that came, came in a car smaller than mine ... so not sure what the $40 would've been for because that car could've easily fit in underground parking.

I am shocked and disappointed at the lack of customer service and at the negligence to communicate with clients and then just not show up despite changing the appointment time presumably to fit with THEIR schedule.
