Because I forgot to drop off a key to the aftermarket hood locks the mechanic had to wait for me to get the key to him so he could complete the job. I desperately needed my Jeep for a trip that I was leaving early the next morning. I was blown away by the fact that they kept the shop open for over an hour past their normal closing time on one of the hottest days on record on a Friday afternoon just so I would have my Jeep for my planned trip I was going on the following morning. Still waiting for Dave to return the $500 he overcharged on a Generac home generator. It's been two…read moreyears. Dave is the principal owner of the business and recently got into the home generator business as a distributor and installer of Generac products. I signed off on an estimate / contract with him to install Generac's largest residential generator. Other than delivering the home generator unit and sub-contracting the gas and electrical hook-ups, I basically had to step in as the general contractor and work with the gas / electrical guys because he would not return phone calls to them or to me. In fact, I had to contact Generac directly to set the generator up and get the 10 year warranty he was supposed to secure for me as part of his estimate and contract. Even his own staff told me privately that he is over his head and not very good with customer support. I do not recommend Ocean West.
