This was my second time coming in (had a belt replaced last year and it was very reasonably priced). I ended up going with the $60 oil change and full health check (which is pretty good price wise). Turns out i needed about $850-$1000 of work done on my car. I was not thrilled at all - forking out that kinda cash for my 2007 corolla. Adrienne was SO friendly (even after i was quite cranky and a bit rude). He priced out the quote for me and was able to give me some solutions and options to make it a little cheaper. When i booked my appointment, the guys were quick, super nice and even knocked of some of labour cost for me. I know I can trust them and they showed me the parts that they replaced and gave me confidence to get back on the road! Will defs be bringing my car in for servicing when needed.

However, having Milo European maintaining my car gives me the same confidence in it, as if it was new. The guys know these cars so well, they are able to diagnose problems quickly and accurately and know how to get my car back on the road asap. On Thursday night my smart key fob stopped working. On these cars, that also means you cant start it. I researched the internet and started getting fairly scared at what people on Mercedes forums were saying about the cost to get this fixed. I just started a new outside sales job the week this happened, so not having a car for a week or longer while i waited for mercedes to order me a key, was not going to work. I called Tom at Milo, and he knew exactly what was going on. I didnt just need a key, I also needed my ignition module repaired. Tom was able to get the module repaired, get me a brand new and super slick mercedes key (check out the pic for the old key vs new key) and have me back on the road that same day!!!!!!!!! And the price..... half of what mercedes quoted me for just the key (the car still would of needed the module too). I cant say enough how important it is to have a trusted mechanic that knows your car well. That knowledge is priceless. And this new key will up my game at the next key bowl party.

Two of the three parts were faulty and I had to return to their shop for one repair and another when I got back home. My van was left in a greasy mess inside and out which I had to ask be cleaned when it went back in for first re-do. I did appreciate the owner covered the cost for the second faulty part but no compensation for the half tank+ of gas lost, vacation time lost, and loss of use of my vehicle when I returned home to fix their second faulty part!! I didn't think requesting a refund of a couple hours of labour was out of line considering but the owner sure did. No apology, no compensation. I expected a high profile reputable shop and owner would be more customer focused. Not impressed at all.

My experience with body shops have not been good, so I was pretty surprised that the office was relatively clean and each rep had their own desk I could sit and chill as they process my paperwork. The guy hands me an iPad. "What. You want me to play games as I wait?" No. Instead, they had a cute little cartoon thing explaining what will be happening to my vehicle. Not only was I surprises that a body shop would even know what an iPad was (Most I've been to have been pretty low tech), it was a hoot that they went as far as creating cartoon videos to explain to customers what is going on. Got my car looked at and made an appointment to come back and drop it off for repair. When I dropped off my car, the AutoMind rep also showed me how I can use my iPhone to see the photos of my car and see what stage my car is at in their shop. Then they had someone from Enterprise pick me up to get my temporary car. Got a car I've wanted to try out for a few days. When I went back to pick up my car, more paperwork and another iPad cartoon telling me something about my warrantee. I checked over the work. Couldn't tell I got hit (Guess that means a good job). And they also vacuumed and cleaned the interior of my car (With 2 kids, it had gotten mighty dirty with pieces of stuck dried fruit in various locations). The work was pretty good, and those cartoons were pretty funny. What got me was the fact that they put in a lot of effort and tech stuff into the customer side, with the cartoons and the iPhone login thing to look at my car. All in all, it was a pretty smooth and funny experience. But it still sucks that you need to pay the deductible for something that you didn't do...

I feel really fortunate that David from Elements replied to my message. He and his colleagues repaired yesterday my car, and reattached securely the spoiler in less than one hour. I had extremely high hopes due the supposed reputation of Stan's, but was plagued with nothing but…read moreheadaches and issues for 7 consecutive months while they repeatedly failed to complete my trans rebuild properly. The work was performed under an extended warranty, yet they damaged parts and expected me to find and purchase replacements out of pocket to fix their mistakes. I drove under 1000km during the 7 months it was in and out of the shop, finally giving up after coming back the 10th time and taking the car home with a visible transmission pan leak that they had continuously failed to correct. After two years of barely driving the vehicle, the transmission again showed symptoms of failure, with another shop's trans specialist finding several bolts in the transmission (forward band servo cover and the valve body bolts) that were only hand tightened and eventually backed out, causing total failure and loss of all drive gears. If you care about your vehicle and want honest trustworthy work done, I could not possibly recommend this shop at all. Their negligence ended up costing me thousands to rebuild it again. I recently had my car broken in to (hurray Surrey) and selected Harm's as they were nearby and…read moreoffered a courtesy car (my insurance doesn't cover a rental). Pros: Peter, the owner, was willing to stay late to see me the day I brought in my car; and again later when I had to pick it up. His accommodation of my hours was a big help since I don't get off work until too late most days. Courtesy car was a new Ford Fiesta, not the greatest car, but got me from here to there without problems. Clean car and full tank of gas. When I got it back the car was cleaned, inside and out! This was nice as no work was required on the inside so no need for cleaning there. Repairs look good as new. Window is replaced, glass cleaned up, all the molding and tracks around the window were done and the scratches on the panel were repainted. In bright sunlight I could not see anything indicating a repair. Cons: When I called the place the first time I left a message and never got a response. The repair was done one day later than the estimate, but no big deal.

Peter, I believe the owner ? was very apologetic, and kindly attended to the problem immediately. so i figured honest mistake and since peter was so nice it was over all a decent experience. So just last week our family dropped off the car for some work done, picked it up, filthy, filthy, there is still a metal box thingy left on the floor of the passenger side, im not sure what it is, dunno if its garbage or if they forgot to re install it ?!?! they also forgot to return the nut bolt key thingy and the driver side door that they fixed doesn't even close properly. What on earth ?!?! They really need to give the car a check over before returning it. Such Poor workman ship. And its not as if they're prices are cheap either. Unfortunately I must bring it back.
