If independent movies are you're thing, you've got to check it out. And if you already know about Cinema Center, but you haven't been lately, you've been missing out. They've hosted awesome movie events like Braineaters' Ball, a Hitchcock-themed Oscar Party, a Spinal Tap Party, a poetry reading for On the Road, a hot dog night with Bravas, and the Midnight Movie series. Want to watch a movie outside and eat a burger? They've got that, too. And, I'm pretty sure this is just the beginning of bigger and better things to come. Oh, and become a member! Unfortunately, now I go here because it's the lesser of two crappy options. Almost all of the seats at the ends of the aisles have armrests that give way when you sit down. The seat covering is falling apart. Honestly, it looks like shit. It's embarrassing and as long as it continues like this, it just goes to show that the company doesn't give a shit about the experience of being at the movies. I don't blame the employees here. I think they're generally great and I feel bad for them that this company doesn't care enough to fix things. If they fixed things here, it would be amazing. Luckily, I wasn't hurt, but that may not have been the case for someone heavier or with physical disabilities! We were also lucky we weren't seeing the show at a more crowded time or we would've had to try to locate another seat in the dark! Also, the light revealed how utterly DISGUSTING these seats are! These are only a few of the things we've seen over the years as this movie complex continues to deteriorate. Multiple long-term closures over the summer, pop machines missing multiple selections, and poor maintenance are only a few examples-signs of failed management. I will be calling AMC. NOT acceptable!

People who have autoimmune disorders and other issues which cause pain found being in those seats to be extremely painful. Another person I know who went, and does not have those health issues, found the sound to be at a pitch which hurt her ears. Even with Spiderverse being on multiple screens, and it being passed the opening week, it is only playing on Atmos screens, so I can't see it. Not unless I want to be in extreme pain for 1-2 days afterward. If you're not going to a new release, aka able to avoid the Dolby Atmos, the seats and screens are very nice.

The chair I sat in was a little ripped up, the cup holder was gross, and the floors were covered in all sorts of food litter. I used to stop in here about 6 times a year, now I limit it to maybe once a year because it's just not great. Go buy the movie when it comes out and watch it at home with your friends. It'd be cheaper and cleaner (depending on who you are).
