My family had an amazing time at the family concert. The family concert was titled Superheroes and…read moreSupervillains. Plenty of families came with their children for the event. I think its wonderful that the Lima Symphony Orchestra creates an event to get kids into classical music. It was also cheap, $20 for any seat in the house?!?!? Heck i got tickets just cuz they were so cheap! How else are you going to get to sit so close to the stage for so low a price?!?!? The event had coplayers from a comics shop within Lima, Alter Ego Comics, which I plan to visit in the future. They had heroes like Captain America, Starlord, Wonder Woman and others. They also had cosplayers from the Star Wars universe, and even though I do not believe Jedi are superheroes, Sith are certainly supervillains. I will say, the cosplayer they had dressed up as Anakin Skywalker, absolutely nailed him! He got the voice, the body language and attitude! Kudos to him! During the time the orchestra played they had the cosplayers come out, they also had the cosplayers in character if their characters theme was playing. I think that was a nice touch to keep kids engaged. I loved it because a-lot of these themes I have always loved, and id pay more than $20 to listen to Imperial March played by ah orchestra. These were the songs played: 1. Main Title from Star Wars 2. Theme from Batman (1989 film) 3. Theme from Spiderman 4. Theme from The Avengers 5. Imperial March 6. Leia's Theme 7. Across the Stars 8. Theme from The Mandalorian 9. March from Captain America 10. Theme from the Incredibles 11. Cruela De Vil 12. Wonder Woman Suite 13. Main Title from Superman It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

I've never been to this Fairground before and I have to say it was nice, tidy, and of a decent size. I'm used to parking in "pot-holey" fields filled with mud and the parking here was simple and convenient. While I'm not a big crafter, this was a fun excursion for my friend and I. All of the Field houses had booth after booth of crafters. I did make a few small purchases and was quite happy. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Entering and Exciting the grounds were simpl. Would I return? Absolutely.

The museum contains more than 3,400 original illustrations of childrens books. It's amazing the detail of illustrations and they are beautifully portrayed here. I can only imagine the creativeness and imagination it takes to be a children's book illustrator. The museum is worth checking out if you love(d) childrens books. It's free of charge (accepts donations). The museum also provides many learning opportunities for children, has a childrens art studio, and has Funday Sundays (where kids hear stories and can get their faces painted). If you live in Findlay and are looking for an opportunity for your child to express hiimself through art this may be a great place to start.

We thought the food offered at the concession stand was decently priced and was actually pretty good. If you order something that isn't ready made they take your phone number and text you when it's ready, which is convenient. The restrooms need some major work. Toilets were broken. The water on the faucets barely trickled out to wash your hands. Our girls didn't even want to use them because they were pretty sketchy, but we had an hour long car ride home. Regardless of the shoddy bathroom, we had a great time!
